March 8, 2010 at 13:23 #281141I may be mistaken as this was some time ago but dont actually remember there being any advised stakes for this thread, as it was really a response to a challenge from Carvs in early 2008, however the final points tally must be pretty horrific.
Really I found this thread to be a great learning exercise, the lessons from which led to 4 pretty decent other threads such as the 2 long road to cheltenham threads (this years of which still needs updated), and the 2 mile hurdle races threads, which I think many people including myself have found enjoyable.
On a contrast to this thread the 2 mile hurdle races thread of this year has never been out of profit despite myself having not seen a single race since the start of october.
I think such threads are worth having a go at for anyone wanting to analyze their bets and see where their strengths and weaknesses are.
Are you thinking of having a go at one yourself?
