    1pt rev f/c moonstone

    1pt e/w 1pt win YOUMZAIN @ 8-1

Only one One Cool Cat ran in the woodcote SMOKEY STORM won @ 5-1

Norfolk Stakes BAYCAT 5pts win @ 14-1 (Skybet & Totesport)

The horse owes me nothing and it looks like he is way overpriced again because he hails from a small yard. Once again I’d expect he’ll be hard to beat.

    Ribblesdale Cape Amber 2pts win @ 5-1

Ran on well enough in the musidora to suggest that 1m4f on gd-fm would be right up her street, the ground in the oaks wasn’t that and the race turned into a staying contest so she deserves a second chance (or first chance, didnt back her at epsom)

    1pt e/w Icon project @ 22-1

Really like this horse’s pedigree and progressive nature, she is up against it for a third start but she may have what it takes to get in the money or better.

    Britannia Stakes 1pt e/w SLUGGER O’TOOLE @ 50-1

Isnt the best drawn horse in the field by any means, but ascot has favoured horses who are ridden prominently on the staright course this week and he looks to have have conditions in his favour for a big run (draw aside). 50-1 looks too big a price.

1pt e/w FIFTEEN LOVE @ 40-1 – has ground in his favour is low in the weights and is well drawn, needs to improve but may have it in him.

1pt e/w AMAZING STAR @ 66-1 – Cant think of halford and cleary (a formidable comabination in handicaps in ireland) ever being at ascot before, and I find this horse very interesting as he too is well drawn and low in the weights but just needs to improve again.

Hampton Court Stakes 2pts Dr Faustus @ 9/2

Well impressed with his seasonal reappearance, and have since heard that stoute holds him highly regarded.

    2pts Moynahan @ 16-1

The guineas form is working out to be rock solid at the minute with the fifth finishing third in the jersey yesterday, and he is the sixth home so with this trip on this surface likely to prove too sharp for many in this field it would appear he just needs to stay and he’ll be thereabouts

Khateeb 1pt e/w @ 28-1 has ground in his favour and has stamina on his dam side to suggest he will like the step up in trip.

What a result returned on Fifteen Love, wel happy with that

    Albany Stakes

Am finding it hard to believe that a galileo filly is winning 6f 2yo races, but Cuis Ghaire is doing just that. Am hoping that she just has more stamina and class than those shes raced against so far. If she wins today she’ll be a solid 1000 guineas favorite, which is probably why so many are backing her for it already. But I’ll go for

    Jet D’eau 1pt e/w @ 14-1

    Salsa Star 1pt e/w @ 50-1

    Art Princess 1pt e/w @ 14-1

    King Edward VII

    Bronze Cannon 2pts win @ 4-1

Should be clear favorite IMO, would be surprised if Conduit can beat him on this ground

    Campanologist 1pt e/w @16-1

May have improvement for Gd-Fm and at his price is overlooked

    Winchester 1pt e/w 12-1

Weld holds this horse in the highest ragard. and his last race was too short, whether this trip is again to short is yet to be seen, but think he looks a leger horse and he cant be overlooked today at a good price.

    Coronation Stakes

    3 Pts Spacious " 10-3

Leading Contender if she can improve from newmarket 2nd where she had held on to her coat late

    2pts Modern Look @ 17/2

    Will love the ground

    2pts Muthabara @ 12-1

May want an extra 2furlongs but I’m still not convinced she was 100% at newmarket and she should handle this ground well enough so will take another chance on her at this price.

    Wolferton Handicap

    Many Volumes 1pt e/w @ 16-1

    Should love the ground

    Halicarnassus 1pt e/w @ 20-1

One Ive always liked and could go well.

    Soapy Danger 1pt e/w @ 25-1.

If hes back to form he is overpriced.

    Queens Vase

    1pt e/w 1pt win Unleashed @ 16-1

    2pts Captain Webb @ 13/2

Both are bred to handle Gd-Fm and both have satmina a plenty on their dam side.

    1pt Age Of Reason @ 12-1

Mark Johnston knows how to win this and this looks a decent enough horse.

    Buckingham Palace Handicap

Berbice 1pt e/w @40-1 Not the best drawn but one on the far side almost beat me in the Britannia yesterday

    Carnivore 1pt e/w @22-1

Drawn well, low weighted, bred for surface good chance

    Captain Jacksparra 1pt e/w @40-1

Drawn Well, low weighted, should handle surface, good chance if clear run.

    Hardwicke Stakes

    Lucarno – 2pts win @ 8-1

Meant to be targetting the arc and put in a good run last time, has a brilliant chance if back to the same form as last year.

    Golden Jubilee

    Myboycharlie 1pt e/w 1pt win@28-1

He may just have needed the run last time and so I’ll give him another chance.

    Wokingham

    Tamagin 1pt e/w 20-1

    Tombi 1pt e/w 1pt win @ 12-1

    Conquest 1pt e/w 50-1

    Queen Alexandra

    1pt e/w Bulwark 14-1

Unlikely that he will have the toe to go with these, unless they go like stink early, but it is only his second flat run since being gelded and he won the last so why not.

    Also for today:

    Golden Jubilee

    Soldiers Tale 1pt e/w 22-1

    Sir Gerry 1pt e/w 20-1

    Duke Of Edinburgh Stakes

    Proponent 2pts @ 8-1

    Exdiyaad 2pts @ 10-1

    Strategic Mount 1pt e/w @ 33-1

Aside from the the top weight Jadalee theres not much weight seperating the field and this trio look the best by some way.

    Antepost – Darley July Cup

    Les Arcs 2pts e/w 2pts win @ 33-1

Was at York last Saturday to see Les Arcs partake in a racecourse gallop under Darren Williams ahead of a stab at the July Cup. He looked on good terms with himself and we all know he has what it takes to put the field to bed on good – firm, if back to his 2006 form.

    Arc Du Triomphe

    2pts e/w Vision D’Etat @ 16-1

Couldnt have been more impressed with this horse when he won the French Derby, I thought Famous Name was virtually nailed on when he came out of the pack, but VD’E found more and more to repell him. Reminded me of Hurricane Run Vs Shamardal but with the more likely arc horse coming out on top. Cant believe he is the price he is, with the record of french trained 3yos in the race and with how good a french trained 3yo he looks.

    3pts New Approach @ 7-1

Wont be that price after the Irish Derby and too smart a horse to leave out of the equation at that price (can’t understand why he is bigger than soldier of fortune and zarkava).

    2pts Youmzain @ PM price

    1pt e/w 1pt win @ PM price

    Irish Derby

Think it will be more of a staying contest this time as AOB has 3 montjeus in the race (amongst his five) and has a good record in the race.
