Cheers Graham the dementia don’t bother me ( I think  ) but the body packing up really is the hard ship for me
But old father time is unbeatable, oh for one more long sparring session.
Anyway good luck everyone today :good:

Thanks Raymo, I’ve stuck to betting my Epsom competition choices,
plus a couple of bets on Rebel Rocker. Glad to see my first choice
just got the head in front, along with Catherine, so it puts us not
    too far behind Mickey.

1.30 Ten Bob Tony (Golden Mind)

    2.05 Love Dynasty (Pina Sonata)

    2.40 Jan Brueghel (Lambourn)

3.15 Lexington Blitz *nap* (Dream Composer)

    4.00 Item (Christmas Day)

    4.40 Lake Como (Starlight Time)

5.20 Elsass + Spinning Wheel ( Give It To Me Oj)

    5.55 Sondad (Strike Red)

    Wellington 4.00 Rebel Rocker

Thanks for the competition Raymo and Tracy, it’s a cracker and
I’ve coined it in so far :good:

I was not very good BigG but was fit and could take a shot, so I was sparring partner to some very good fighters around the east end area, used a fair bit to sapr Mark Kaylor a west ham lad who won the European title. Sadly he passed last year

Got a bit of the loses back with the first two winners and I was right JB will out stayed the french superstar  :
Well done with ten bob Tony as well Graham :good:
They put the dementia down to the boxing (I have my doubts) but if I had my time again I would still box and spar

Thanks Nick :good: I was over the moon when he won..not so much when Paddys stole £25 quid out-of my winnings  but hey I took 12/1 Christmas Day and he went off at 7/1.
Also backed Bay City Roller at 12/1 so it was a good day..

(Both horses in my Derby Competition picks).

Graham you were on fire for the 2 days of Epsom..
Ten Bob Tony ..love him well done and Sondad in the last never in doubt.

I actually managed to make a profit over the 2 days so very happy.. :rose:
Never seen a Derby Day quite like that when families were heading home before the big race..really felt for them.

Not a Godolphin horse in sight Nick..what on earth is going on.

Cheers Jac, I think we came out of the 2 days leaving the bookies
with glum faces. That nap of yours, Christmas Day, was sensational :yahoo:
(he was my reserve  ) I hope Royal Ascot works out as well as
the Derby 2 days. Something else to look forward to. This place
cheers you up whether you like it or not. I’m not complaining :good:

Good luck at the Tennis Darren, hope the weather is kind for you.

I’ve got 2 that were down in my Tracker today. Jouster was 6/1 last night
and my other on the tracker is Popstar, who did Jac and I well last time out.
I was going to miss him though as he doesn’t win too often and 3/1 is quite
low so I was going to have a try on Michael Dodds Macedonian at 20/1 who was
running off his lowest mark ever. I bet him but he’s now a non runner. So I
can’t ignore Popstar at 3/1 at Carlisle. I’ve decided to do the double too.
I don’t often bet on a Monday, but I’ll see how these 2 go.

    2.15 Haydock – Popstar 3/1 William Hill

    7.48 Roscommon – Jouster 6/1(last night) WH

    Double 3/1 and 4/1.

Well as I half expected, Haydock was a race too far for Popstar. I would
rather Dodds had left in Macadonian, I fancied his chances more at 20/1.
I guess I was more scared to sit back and watch Popstar romp in but that
    never looked like happening.

So I’m back to my single on Jouster at 6/1 at Roscommon tonight. I’d settle
    for that :good:

Jouster and Popstar out of luck this time Graham..get some of those Golf bets rollingin soon.. :good:
Hope you and Marjorie are keeping well  and Mick look after yourself and hope we can find a few winners at Royal Ascot this year.

I’m still celebrating Christmas Day Graham :yahoo: Not the prettiest of Derby’s but he was very impressive. Now he has to prove he really was the best horse and make further progress in Group company this year.

I’ve been having nightmares about Benvenuto Cellini getting his leg stuck in the stalls, not because I lost 25p on the £ on my winnings but because he could have broken his leg if his leg had been wedged tight when the stalls opened. I’m just happy he’s ok but it seemed crazy to deem him a non runner, took a bit of the sparkle off the race.

    Darren enjoy the Tennis..take a brolly 🤪

Jouster took a leaf out of Popstar’s book and finished 4th, he ran a good
race but just didn’t get home. I’ll leave it until the weekend now.Hope you’re
enjoying the tennis Darren, well not right now as it’s 2.25am, but when the sun
is shining. I wouldn’t count on needing your shades though mate B-) .

Jac ” Jouster and Popstar out of luck this time Graham..get some of those Golf bets rolling
    in soon. :good:

Well we did pretty good at the Derby Meeting Jac so we have the chance of getting off to
a rolling start at Royal Ascot with our ill gotten gains. We’ve certainly got the coffers
ready for that one. I’m glad to say that my golf started off pretty well tonight, I’ve got
my choices for the outright win of the competition (The Canadian Open) but I’ve also got
them covered in the 1st round leader market. My man, Sam Burns, was joint top scorer at 6 under
par with one other player. So although it cut his win odds in half it still worked out pretty
    well…..

    Sam Burns – 33/1
    Won
1st Round Leader – PGA Tour
Each Way: 1/4 Odds 5 Places
    RBC Canadian Open
    Stake£ 40.00
    Win Stake£ 20.00
    Place Stake£ 20.00
    Returns£ 267.50
    Bet Reference: 1017171282
Date Placed: Wed 10th Jun 2026
    Time Placed: 18:38:08
    Event Type: Golf

Apart from Mr Burns, I’ve also got Aldrich Potgieter 2 shots further back
(4 under) at 60/1 and Adam Schenk 1 further back (3 under) at 750/1. Either
of those winning or getting into the place money, well I’d be well chuffed
    with any of them.

It’s less than a week until Royal Ascot so that comes in handy plus
I’ve got a good chance of clawing some more out of the Canadian Open
which finishes on Sunday night. All in all, it’s going pretty well :good:

My week at the Tennis was mixed this week

    Thursday called off
Monday had to wait to about 4Pm for any Tennis

Wednesday had to wait for the afternoon

Tuesday the best day where very sunny and stay the whole day there

See Serena return at Centre Court
Got to meet Iva Jovic and Leylah FERNANDEZ
Especially Leylah who the nicest person I met in sports. Got pictures with both of them to

I talk to Amanda anisimova as well but not able to get a picture with her because am no good taking pictures on phone with someone else in frame

So overall a mixed week for me with the rain but enjoy most of it.

I was going to wait for the weekend before having a punt, but I’ve
got Fringill Dike in my tracker as I think he’s due a decent win. His
form is very patchy. August 2024 was his last win, but that was off a
mark of 141. He threw away any chance he had last time out at Aintree
by continually jumping right. The good thing here is that Market Rasen
is a right handed course and even more to the point, because of his
patchy form he is running off his lowest ever mark of 120. That’s 21lbs
lower than his last win and I’m quite a fan of Sean Quinlan. Everything
looks like a positive for this one. I’m going to have a go anyway :good:

7.26 Market Rasen – Fringell Dike 7/1 William Hill

Nb. I stuck my bet on with William Hill at 7s. 1 min later they dropped
his price to 13/2. Maybe coincidence, JP McManus I am not

Seems you were watching in patches because of the weather. What a pity
that Serena had to drop out after beating the world No. 3 doubles team
as her partner has had to pull out because of injury. You seem to be getting
on rather well with the ladies. Just sayin

We both have Sam Burns over at the Canadian Open. He’s started off well,
joint leader at 6 under. He’s a class act and must have a great chance
of seeing it out on Sunday. Generally 11/2 with a couple of lesser firms
    going 7/1.

It was never in doubt with Fringell Dike. Sean Quinlan had obviously decided he
was going to put the others to the sword and ran them ragged coasting in by about 6L.
This is turning into some kind of a week. Hopefully this is just a precursor for
Royal Ascot but either way the bookies have got a bloody nose :good:
