I spotted Duar Mapel in the RP this morning, hes out to 25/1 so gonna have a tiny e/w punt on.

However in regard to Webb the stats show he has been very kind to Utd in nearly everygame there in the last couple of years with a number of wrong decisions.
If it was a once off bad performance by Webb I wouldnt be that insensed. Its the fact that there is a clear pattern of favourotism to the Mancs that bugs me and its not only against Liverpool.
Some of his controversial decsisions have greatly helped Utd in recent years, all at Old Trafford.

The FA have decided to charge Ryan Babel with improper conduct but no penalties to Webb for his shocking display and blatant favourotism towards Utd yesterday.
He should be investigated and made to answer for such poor refereeing and also suspended.
Yet again Ferguson is pulling Webbs strings like the puppet he is and the FA are too afraid to do anything about it.
FA might aswell stand for Ferguson, Alex because he basically runs the show, he is untouchable.
Good on Ryan Babel he is 100% correct.
UTD destroyed Pool today. I cant see how anyone can have complaints with the result.
The only one who destroyed Liverpool was that joker Webb, it wasnt a penalty and it wasnt a red card. I have no doubt if Webb had of done his job properly it would of been at least a replay and Liverpool would of done them at Anfield.
Utd beat a 10 man team with a goal from a penalty that should never of been. Gerard should of never gone because Webb should of blown for Rafael seconds before and sent him off.
Utd couldnt break down 10 men in an hour of open play so how you claim we were destroyed is beyond me.

How any Utd fan can be proud of that is also beyond me. Webb is just another ref either afraid of fergie or possibly on the Utd christmas card list. Perhaps he is even on the Utd payroll judging on his performances at old trafford.

If I was a trainer I’d only look after my stable staff, horses and owners, I wouldn’t give anything to the public because they don’t deserve it.

it would be interesting to watch the Cheltenham Gold cup with no one attending though wouldn"t it? Geez you are such a D*ck! Totally agree with the TAPK, what are you talking about man. If all held your ridiculous attitude the sport would be finished and the racing industry would be no more.

As I said before, when the difference between second & third is a big bag of nothing (and the first prize is hardly a golden rainbow either), you’re attitude isn’t going to be inclined towards doing anyone any favours.
What I’ll be looking at now is what the handicapper does. If the horse would’ve finished second were it not for the jockey, then he’ll surely have to go up a few pounds (considering second was the top weight)
I’d put all the money in my pockets on his mark being unchanged, to which the trainer will probably think ‘job done’I am not talking about prize money that is not the issue here. Everyone knows that the prize money in Britain is terrible and it needs to be improved as I have said on other threads before. Prizemoney is irrelevant in this issue, as is everthing else because there really should be no arguement.
It does not matter whether its a £2,500 seller or a £100,000 group one, all riders and trainners have a clear obligation to race every horse on its merrit and to try to win or be placed if it is at all possible without breaking any riding rules (obviousely).
There really is no argument about it. Any punter who places a bet on a horse in any race is entitled to rest 100% sure that the horse will be rode to the best of its abilities to finish in the best place possible.
There is no room in this sport for any attitude other than that. Any jockey or trainner who thinks they owe punters nothing are badly mistaken, they owe us everything. Without our so called ‘mugs game’ punting they wouldnt have a job at all.
Gambling and racing go hand in hand and they always will, its the nature of the sport. Its the duty of all trainners and jockeys to respect this and always try no matter what the circumstances or nature of the race.

Without punters there would be no racing industry, that is a fact.
Stewards must protect punters against non triers, corruption and anything suspicious about rides and runners. If not people will just get sick and tired of it and gamblers will look to other sports. Fact.
So the attitude of a trainner who couldnt care less about a punter is completely the wrong one.
It is this attitude of arrogant trainners that may bring down this industry and great sport.

I fancy Joncol for this one should the race go ahead, Paul Nolan’s charge will relish the bottomless ground so he should have a cracking chance!!
Im going for a double tomorrow I really fancy mossey joe in the 2 o’clock race too, the 50/1 double would go a long way towards making up for the lack of excitement so far in the festive calendar!!

I think world war 3 is on the cards guys. Iran and North Korea are the two biggest threats to the world as we know it. If Obama was not at the helm im sure the situation regarding both countries would of escalated by now!!
The last thing America needs is another warmonger like Bush in charge therefore it will be a terrible day if Sarah Palin gets her seal cub killing mitts anywhere near the oval office.
On the other hand America needs someone in charge who can take action when required. I think Obama has done ok and im sure he would not shy from defending America or the world for the matter if it was the only solution. He has a fighting spirit. I hope some racist imbred hillbilly who thinks Obama is a commy arab doesnt do the same as what happened to JFK, although im sure with the security now he will make it through his first term ok!!
