CARLTON HOUSE To win Epsom Derby 20/1 best price Coral
I got 25/1 for him weeks ago but only i now i am putting him up here.Won his maiden by 9L was impressive he just took off and was gone from while trainer has Sea Moon i see the queen owned horse once step up to 1m4 could be a top class horse next year.
Good Post Darren, the marker horse here is
Estourah
who incidentally has St Leger written all over him.Collateral form suggests
Carlton House
is the better of the 2 Stoute horses, although
Sea Moon
has the more scope, this horse found a mile too sharp even on heavy ground as a 2yo and as much as he looks like
Workforce
he is a more immature sort! Carlton House looked impressive at Newbury but his was Div 11 of the maiden,Div 1 clocked much the same time earlier! Both these colts are visually impressive and look like Derby types to me!
January 8, 2011 at 21:53 #335141Well done on getting the welsh national winner
I was suprised you did not say anything of RECITAL
A impressive maiden winner and a winner of a group 1 in France he looks to be being trained like Fame And Glory. We all know AOB will have a top 3yo at middle distances this year i think this could be the horse for AOB this year.
January 8, 2011 at 23:17 #335145Interseting thread just had a read through, It appears to me that the majority of your tips loose, dont run or simply have a snowballs chance in hell!!
.I also backed Sizing Europe and Imperial Commander so congrats on them, also had about ten other winners at the festival too though, you dont always have to go the antepost route!!
.Cant fault your entheusiasm mate or your confidence but I hope your not putting much on your bets.
I think following you may be the quickest way to the poor house and not as you have insisted a way to get rich.

If captain CeeBee wins the champion chase ill eat my hat, his best chance may be if master minded and big zeb bring each other down at the first!!
As for Joncol to win a Gold Cup, mate your a dreamer

Dont give up the day job, but best of luck, such fool hardy optimism is refreshing!!
Peace out!!
January 8, 2011 at 23:37 #335147Is Binocular an antepost steel at 5/1 for the champion hurdle in March. I was at Newbury when he ran, came there to win and just blew up. Surely he wont go off that price on the day will he?
Interested to hear peoples views on last years champion hurdle some are saying that it was not the best.

Was spooked on his Hennessey run it was like a few horses fell in front of him and did not recover from that and pulled up.Came back to form in the lexus chase was backed heavy that day you could of got 8/1 with Lads.Put his best foot forward and was awesome in this race. Will go for the Irish hennesey i expect him to win it and go to Cheltenham and i think he can win at the festival.

I’m with you on this 1,Elliott cant speak highly enough of this horse,he told me when jessies dream won at Galway the horse was only half fit and he feels the horse is an absolute machine and the best he’s trained!I got on then at 25’s so could be a nice payday!
February 13, 2011 at 12:14 #340431THIRD INTENTION To win Triumph hurdle 25/1 Totesport
Though got beat by Local Hero i think he turn form around with that horse he get a stronger pace in this race. And i feel those near the top of market are not that strong and a bigger price horse will win it.
February 13, 2011 at 12:17 #340432CHAMPION COURT To win Albert Bartlett Novices 16/1 Totesport
Won very well at Cheltenham but last time out ran no race at all. i would cross out that race and ignore it and give him another chance at 3m he bounce back to form in this race.
February 13, 2011 at 12:22 #340434BACKSPIN To win Neptune Novices 14/1 Totesport

He was miles behind Cue Card in bumper race but was going to be a better hurdler.Won his maiden hurdle very well.A very impressive horse and has got a lot of poteintal as well.
Very sad to hear of the death of BACKSPIN.Though last time out was not a good peformance i always felt in the end he would of been a top class horse.Sadly he wont have the chance to prove it.He be missed.
