Making inexperienced novices jump that many fences and run 4 miles maybe too much of a test
With the current atmosphere about horse welfare you can see them changing this race
Was on Ms Parfois last year and discorama this year
Not a lucky race for me
Thought discorama had that in the bag
Didn’t see that happening
She was foot perfect at every other fence
Yes
Geraghty never looked 100% happy
Lots of horses really struggling to travel on the ground today
The horses that have been held up been struggling to make up ground so far today
Geraghty wont want to be too far back on buveur
Yes lots of hard luck stories but the way DDG stormed away hed have won anyway
Great start
Already guaranteed to break even for the festival after one race
Money coming for fakir
Looks like the two time champ will go off third fav
Susannah Ricci’s racing manager was on the oddschecker cheltenham preview and he didn’t like sharjahs chances with any cut in the ground
I had a few quid on singlefarmpayment in the 5 to be placed market on the exchange earlier
Around 11/4 seemed fair enough
BD nearing 4.0 on the exchange
Money for both mares
Very true, going into cheltenham off a fall is rarely a good thing
But is only a small bet for a bit of interest, so double the price of ballyward will do me
Good luck with ok corral
Discorama looked far from beaten when falling last time against ballyward, was one of the first off the bridle but was plugging on like a proper stayer so hes my bullet for this
For me ok corral is almost too classy to stay 4 miles, that would be my only question mark about him, he should be running in the RSA
If he does return to the form of his first go over fences the price could look very big
The race is definitely going to be run to suit as well
Backed him ante post in a couple of trixies after that run at cheltenham so I’m happy with lalor as the back up option to hardline
Us and them got beat 10 lengths by hardline, so don’t think us and them has the strongest form on offer
I’d have thought lalors demolition of dynamite dollars around cheltenham is the best piece of form in the race
But obviously that was on good ground and if the deluge does come tomorrow it could be very soft ground
Lalor is an odd one as he has won on heavy ground in the past so was a surprise they used the ground as an excuse last time, he is finally nearing the price he should be, 3/1 since le richebourg and cilaos Emery were pulled out offered zero value at all
A poor renewal but a much better betting heat because of that
Hopefully Davy Russell can work his magic on hardline
Good luck all
Seems to be the usual overreaction to ruby picking the other Mullins horse that has caused aramon to be massively overpriced now
Both have good chances, but so does half the field, probably wouldn’t be having a bet if it wasnt cheltenham
