No logic behind the fact that aramon is 12/1 and Klassical dream is 9/2.

Also I believe the form of fakir dd is quite windy. No value there at all in my view. Same with elixir de nutz. Can’t have him or grand sauncy.

Al dancer appears the best of the UK horses, while aramon and Klassical dream are the best of the Irish. It’s between those 3 I believe.

I reckon Angel’s Breath might be the best of the English; that’s based purely on hype and not on what we have seen but I reckon he’s the best of the English and Klassical Dream and Aramon are the best of the Irish.

Does the Racing Post have the colours wrong for Angels Breath ?

No, he’s wearing Ronnie Bartlett’s colours because Al Dancer is wearing Dai’s. RB owns a third AFAIK.

Big G, isn’t the Sky first race offer capped at £20?

Yeah, I know they’re RB’s colours but Angels Breath has never worn them before – just thought it was a mistake

@steeplechasing Big G, isn’t the Sky first race offer capped at £20?

When I put it up earlier Joe, someone also queried the ammount, but I got an
email offer from them. I don’t know why it’s different to the usual £20, but
    here it is ……………

No asterisk, no free bet, just straight cash back in your account. Because every day at Cheltenham is full day of magic and mayhem, and we want you to start every day right.

I don’t know why there seems to be a variance Jack, here’s my Bet365 message ….

    Hi Graham

The Cheltenham Festival runs from Tuesday 12th to Friday 15th March – and we’re giving you a Free Bet on the stand-out race each day (up to £50 maximum) when you place a single bet on any other Cheltenham race taking place that day. T&Cs apply.

Qualifying bets for each day’s Free Bet Offer must be placed after 13:00 on the day before the Free Bet race. For example, to get a Free Bet on the Champion Hurdle, place a qualifying bet after 13:00 on Monday on any other race on Tuesday’s card.

    Cheltenham Festival Free Bet races:

Champion Hurdle on Tuesday 12th March (15:30) – qualifying bets count from Monday 11th March (13:00)
Champion Chase on Wednesday 13th March (15:30) – qualifying bets count from Tuesday 12th March (13:00)
Ryanair Chase on Thursday 14th March (14:50) – qualifying bets count from Wednesday 13th March (13:00)
Cheltenham Gold Cup on Friday 15th March (15:30) – qualifying bets count from Thursday 14th March (13:00)

Seems strange, but there you have it

Jack, BigG I too got the email but for a different amount to both of you. So its either based on your betting habits or they decide what the amount is for you.

Backed Itchy Feet at 33/1 eachway a couple of weeks back. Also taken the 16/1 on Mister Fisher eachway this evening (before the Elixir De Nutz news). His form looks really solid with Rouge Vif and Esprit Du Large winning since. He also beat Bright Forecast who is incredibly talented (if a complete headcase) at Haydock last time. Can’t see too many flaws.

May come back to bite me, but I don’t rate the Chanelle Pharma form of Klassical Dream, Aramon and Vision D’Honneur. Maybe people are backing the Mullins and Elliott number 1’s blindly; but even though do expect the first and last named to improve, they’re all too short for me… And that’s made imo quite a few others value. Taken 5/1 Al Dancer, 13/2 Fakir D’Oudaries, 18/1 Grand Sancey and 28/1 Thomas Darby with saver on Angel’s Breath.

Tizzard going through one of those spells again; 1 from 34, favs beaten out of sight, several pulled up.

Can end these spells in spectacular fashion, of course.
