Annamix 20-1 ew. Mullins still thinks he has some potential.
October 19, 2018 at 14:13 #1377863I remember Winter Soldier, Sympa Des Flo and the glorious Senewalk were hyped to the max quite like annamix.
When they missed their year, they reappeared with all eyes on them….they were stone useless.
Not saying Annamix will turn out this way, but tread carefully.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!October 19, 2018 at 14:17 #1377864Raya Time @ 40/1 (Skybet)
Posted this on another forum, just copying here so people can see.
Raya Time won a National Hunt Flat Race at Killarney by 14l, backed from 33/1 overnight to 11/4. The horse was then sold to Roger Brookhouse for £150,000 by Sam Curling. Interestingly, last year’s winner of the supreme, Summerville Boy, was backed from 50/1 overnight in to 7/2, and was also bought by Roger from Curling for £130,000 9 days after that very same race. Raya Time has been bred by Simon Munir.
The horse that took a 14l thumping to Raya Time that day has come out and won since. Watch this space
October 19, 2018 at 15:56 #1377874The one I’m curious about is Didtheyleaveuoutto.
Was a massive eye catcher in his first two starts and although down the field in the Champion Bumper he drifted right out once the going changed but still ran with credit.
I’ve had a few small bets along the way but would like to see how he handles his hurdles.Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
October 22, 2018 at 10:10 #1378362Mullins had 5 of the top 7 in teh Bumper and you cant really point to one of them that consistently stood out. You’ve no idea what sort of factor the ground played but I’ve a feeling we wont be looking at a short price fav. Of all the Bumper horses he had I like the look of Tornado Flyer for as a Supreme horse but I wouldnt be having a bet at this stage.
October 22, 2018 at 10:27 #1378365Hard to know with the bumper horses- they can end up being stayers!
Certainly exciting to see how they get on considering how dominant he was in the race!

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!October 24, 2018 at 22:27 #1378567My early call here would be Pym at 25-1
October 31, 2018 at 11:49 #1379125Didtheyleaveuoutto running in about an hour.
Should give an indication to his hurdling, hopefully they run a decent pace.
I suppose it gives me a chance to decide whether or not to include him in Vtc’s 10 to follow. Nobody has him so far the last time I’m looked. Perhaps it’s just me that think he might be a decent prospectGaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
October 31, 2018 at 14:19 #1379134Annamix in to 12s
October 31, 2018 at 14:53 #1379139Willie said today he has a long stride

Well done to those on Annamix at bigger prices but 12/1 does not appeal one bit. Not only have we never seen him race, but he’s coming back from a pelvis injury when many don’t full stop. Fear of loss combined with positive vibes from Ricci/Mullins has propelled him to the top of the market, nothing more. These hype horses happen every year. Senewalk a good recent example. To me the play here is back to lay. I’ve taken 12’s on the exchange and will lay off following a facile maiden hurdle success. Good way to start the supreme book that’s for sure
October 31, 2018 at 16:25 #1379144Thought Thomas Darby was very impressive last weekend at Cheltenham, easily beating my early fancy for this Sebastopol.
Surprised you can still get 33s about TD, and although i haven’t taken it yet, i’m tempted. Olly Murphy is a serious operator that the bookies seem to be underrating slightly, or at least maybe is with this hoss.
October 31, 2018 at 22:09 #1379177Tornado Flyer looks tailor made for this race, as does Pym…
November 1, 2018 at 23:33 #1379254Backing Blackbow for this at 25/1. Mullins spoke about last years Bumper horses and hinted Blackbow, although he will be a staying chaser, will likely run over 2 miles for Novice Hurdles; he as much as mentioned the Ballymore for Tornado Flier and said Carefully Selected is a Stayer. That to me sounds like that as of now, in Willies head, its Blackbow for the Supreme, Tornado Flyer for The Ballymore and Carefully Selected for the Albert Bartlett.
You can get 25/1, 25/1 & 20/1 on that. Things do change and just because he thinks that now he could of course change his mind and he might see something over the season that could make him think differently; but those are serious prices. Might throw on a Lucky 15 now with Mt Leinster for the Bumper at 16/1
November 2, 2018 at 04:24 #1379261I Have backed Danny Kirwan small stakes @ 33/1. He might go Ballymore but I have a feeling this horse could be one of the best horses Nicholls has had for while and he will be kept to minimum trip this season. Once he’s declared for a 2mile race I will lump before he runs
November 3, 2018 at 20:49 #1379632Pym a poor second at Ascot today but hopefully has more improvement in him, that said can now get 50/1 so bookies don’t think he’s good enough…Henderson gave a positive mention in his stable tour so will see where he goes next.
November 21, 2018 at 16:29 #1386594The current market for this is well funny. Annamix 8-1 already and 25-1 bar.
November 23, 2018 at 15:07 #1386749Happy enough with Didtheyleaveyououtto today.
Both starts he’s had to work a little which is no bad thing as a learning experience. Trainer saying maybe one more run in 3 weeks then a break in Jan/Feb if the going is on the soft/heavy side.Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
