Both are among the final 18, no sign of Continuous on the JRA site,
Equinox stands to win £3m & a £2m bonus for having won the Dubai Classic.
The incentives for invited horses are very generous but only Iresine has travelled over.

Looks like we’ll get a chance this Sunday to see how good the filly is.

Sir Michael seems confident and the stats appear to back him up.
Of the last 40 Dante & Musidora winners beaten at Epsom how many
failed to stay but would have been good enough?. Roaring Lion
of course but no others in my betting lifetime.
History is suggesting that quality is the main issue for the
    York winners.

AOB almost never runs his classic winning fillies against the colts as 3-y-os,
maybe only once this century. As someone who got their fingers burnt with Alexandrova
good luck to anyone with a nice price on Snowfall.
Still if Coolmore don’t have any serious 12f colts this year perhaps there’s a chance.

As Kellyane Conway might have said.
“these are alternative stats” where alternative means
    wrong,completely wrong, misleading ,cherry-picked

Whilst I also think that Golden Horn’s breeding is not what is required to get 12f, it could be wise to remember what Vincent O’Brien once said in 1983. “Mile and a Quarter horses possessed with great speed can win the Derby”

Didn’t Lester say that “they stay if they’re good enough”

I can’t find a single Dante winner who flopped at the Derby distance but reverted
to a top class career over shorter distances.
Would Golden Horn be up to winning a Group 1 at 1m 2f?
If he is – then he’ll be very close in the Derby

Seems tapestry is going to longchamp but not for the arc. Doesn’t bode well for taghrrodas chances. Wonder why they aren’t going for the arc.

The same reason that they didn’t run Alexandrova?

The same reason that Fallon suggested (in 2008) that
Zarkava should run in the Prix de l’opera because the
Arc was a tough race for a filly?

The same reason that only one of AOB’s classic winning fillies
has run against the colts in over 10 years?

I’d be interested to know as well.

    Others might nominate Greville Starkey

Synthetic testosterene works for human males,
in cases where they need it(war injuries)or
    don’t(cheating in sports)
If a gelding received a testosterone shot
it might run faster – but wouldn’t that be illegal?

Sea the Moon "fit & well"
according to the Baden Baden website(29/08)

The Grosser Preis has been a useful pointer to
the arc in the past but you’d want to see
the field well beaten to justify the hype.

Coolmore rarely run their G1 fillies against
the colts maybe with Australia looking to stay
at 10f they’ll have a change of policy.

You’re thinking of Gypsy King I,also from AOB.
Winner of the Dee Stakes,5th to Motivator at Epsom
but broke a leg in the Irish Derby.
Someone must be keen on the name.

The French tactic of giving their horses the summer off
just hasn’t worked out with their older colts.
In other years a win at St Cloud would have been the last run till September.
Perhaps Fabres choice to send Meandre via a different route
    might just work out.

I hope no one has forgotten the very smart Tiger Hill
a close 3rd to Sagamix in the late 90’s.

Long been unhappy with the whole wfa system,
ever since the US breds started to clean up in the
    late 60’s/early 70’s.
A horse bred(as they used to be)to prep 3 times
before the US triple crown in May/June could & did
have a clear advantage over their european bred 3yo
    counterparts & the wfa did not(could not)reflect
this when they took on the 4yos.
Of course the blood lines are more mixed now
but the system still favours the precocious champion who
can be packed off to stud at 3 having only beaten 2
    generations.
Without it racing would miss great clashes between
the generations but also we really need to see champions
    racing at 4.
So if Frankel does race next year l’ll raise a glass
to a sporting owner with little to gain & plenty to
    lose
