Phew that was close Old Persian got up just where he needed too
and,I played Racing History for 2nd in my Fantasy League so

Blue Point has more in the tank Hein he wasn’t on full power at the finish ( didn’t want to make it look too easy
)Thanks NW and come on Thunder Snow let’s make it 3
.Divine Image was amazing, I had Estihdaaf in my Fantasy League but now seeing the difference a high draw makes he would have needed wings to have beaten her.
Good price Raymo
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...March 9, 2019 at 15:03 #1400365Thunder Snow beaten today by Cappezano, great ride by Barzelona, disappointing run by Nordic Lights but he was aimed high for this.
All on Dream Castle and First Contact in the last now and it’s going to be a cracking race also good luck Wootton backers too
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...March 9, 2019 at 15:34 #1400372Well done Jac and Dream Castle backers
March 9, 2019 at 15:34 #1400373Very well done Dream Castle
Jac, I hope you had him big to finance your stay
March 9, 2019 at 15:38 #1400374
Thanks Hein, I did have a bit more than normal on him….
Dream Castle, Wootton place NW
First Contact really pleased me I hope he comes over for the Lincoln Handicap.
What a fantastic Saturday.
Well done everyone
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...March 9, 2019 at 15:49 #1400377Have a great break Jac, make sure still in same form for world cup night
March 9, 2019 at 15:51 #1400378That’s nice to hear Jac
Are you still high
, or would you already like to have a thought on the Dubai Turf?
I mean, what could Dream Castle do against the Almond Eye? Normally the Japanese horses are only good at home, but this one could be special. But form-wise DC sets the standard here in his living room, I really can’t assess this
, I hope you can? Cheers and enjoy your stay
Maybe I would break my rule not to play SBS, because the horse is not to blame for his trainer
March 9, 2019 at 16:48 #1400388Bit out of my comfort zone assessing Almond Eye Hein but have taken a look at her Japan Cup win which I thought was very workmanlike but not mind blowing for me.
She is unbeaten in 5 races over distances from 1 mile to 1m 4 furlongs and all her wins have been at a high level. Did note that all the horses she beat into 2nd and 3rd position, in all her 5 races, did not progress so difficult to assess how good she really is away from Japan. She enters the race after a 3 month lay off but don’t think that will be a factor as her trainer seems to have her spot on for each race and certainly a worthy contender.Hope that helps Hein but it’s Dream Castle all the way for me, he just gets better every time he runs.
time to forget your SBS hangups and get on, as you said the horse doesn’t know..LolMy Paddy Power account is bulging now so I’ve some betting money for the dirt racing on Thursday and World Cup and Lincoln on the 30th.

Thanks NW for your good wishes ‘re my trip…I’m off to pack another pair of shoes into my suitcase

Good luck for Cheltenham if you’re playing
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...March 9, 2019 at 17:06 #1400397Very well done Jac, you’ll nearly be on a par with those wealthy Sheikhs
that your about to visit after your day today
March 9, 2019 at 17:07 #1400398All – Thanks for your tips. I placed five bets as doubles and won on four of the 5 bets. Winners were:
1) Divine Image
2) Blue Point
3) Old Persian
4) Dream Castle
The only bet that didn’t come in was Thunder Snow
@Triptych
There is wi-if at the track but it was so temperamental that no sooner had we connected we were then disconnected. The only was of placing a bet using a UK account was to turn in our data roaming -which as you say costs a sheikh’s ransom. One observation, you may also find useful: all the expats were to be found in the restaurants. Only locals were in the basic grandstand.
I hope you have a fabulous time there. Thanks once again for the tips. We had a great time.
March 9, 2019 at 17:23 #1400399Don’t go kissing your husband in public Jac
Think they have a law against it

Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
March 9, 2019 at 17:36 #1400405LOL Nathan, I’ll take note.
Is there a law against kissing horses because wIll certainly be planting one on Dream Castle if I see him.
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...March 9, 2019 at 17:44 #1400407Thank you so much Jac for your clear statement, for being out of your comfort zone
it was a very good analysis and indeed very helpful to me
I think I will dare a bet on DC, coz (Slade spelled it like that
) the horse really showed all one could ask for
Bulging sounds great, I hope I can say that too in 3 weeks. You were right about Blue Point, I also saw that he only gave 60%, the main purpose was to acclimatize to the Meydan 6f, and oh he did!March 9, 2019 at 17:44 #1400408@CNC Many thanks for all that useful information and glad you had a great time, Hopefully your winnings will go towards your data roaming costs
The temperamental wi-fi is a bit of a worry as was hoping to take part in a few competitions on here during Cheltenham while away, but hopefully it will be okay next week.I am hoping to go to parade ring to look at the horses so will probably get amongst the locals for a while but the restaurant sounds a good place to chill out and enjoy the
racing..thanks and glad you enjoyed your trip..Jac
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...March 9, 2019 at 17:48 #1400409Hein…the forecast for March 30th is bulging wallets and empty bookies satchels..
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...March 9, 2019 at 17:55 #1400410Cheers Graham, you didn’t do so bad yourself winning the TRF Godolphin Fantasy League competition.
Hope you backed a few of them.
Enjoy your trip to Cheltenham Festival and give those bookies a good bashing. Look forward to hearing how you got on when you get back. We might have to start the Thread in the Lounge as the Forum might go into meltdown once we start talking.LOL
