I find it hilarious you think I’m trolling because I believe GB has the strongest runners in the RSA?

No, thats not why i think your trolling, you have given 0 facts as to why you think elegent escape, ballyoptic and black corton can comfortably dismiss presenting percy, monalee, al boum photo, invitation only and finish 1.2.3

And how you can say that EE is comfortably better than the irish raiders who have already posted a 155 rating but we dont know how much they can improve (one of them will) whereas elegant escape COULD NOT run to 155 to beat black corton

One of these irish horses WILL run above 155, the gb string have proven so far that none of them are upto besting 155 we know this based on black corton, thats not to say they wont ever or cant, but there limitations are relatively exposed as of now

Wether gb wins or not is not my point, its your reasoning for being so confident, with no facts.

Good luck Potato, I fear he will not be capable of pulling it off for you though. I really don’t see an English trained runner placing here, let alone winning. Of the English runners that will turn up, it’s one of the worst bunch of staying novices that I can remember.

Well should the unthinkable happen and elegant escape gets beaten then it can only have been by ballyoptic.

Black corton MAY get 3rd (he may not)

Ballyoptic is the only danger I can see here.

I can assure you that Monalee beating Elegant Escape in the Albert Bartlett last year with EE just 5 years of age bears zero relevance on the outcome of this race. The logic is colpletely flawed.

I can see both sides of the argument here. I wouldn’t put a huge amount of store by Monalee beating EE over hurdles last year as the latter is such a big rangy type who looks like a slow maturing chaser rather than a hurdler.

But for the same reason I think Monalee has a better chance this year. His jumping LTO was beautiful. Think EE may be a horse for next year when he has filled that big frame and got more experience.

As Vautour says…we’ll soon find out!

WE will soon find out. I’m still far from
convinced Monalee is going to run in this and still think he is going to the JLT.
Don’t fear this horse in the slightest though so hopefully he will turn up here.

Not pocket talking regarding monalee because everything is beatable in the race nothings a sure thing, but not many horses fall and win a grade 1 next time out like he did

Hes confirmed rsa unless the ground is bad, so you can make your own mind hp on his target i suppose

    Good luck with EE potato

I hope your backing your old pal traffic fluide at big prices in the ultima.

He was (Allegedly) confirmed (wasn’t confirmed at all if you take note of the words)as RSA as long as the ground isn’t soft on the very same day that Cheltenham clerk of course announced to the world that the ground could be heavy/soft.

Make of that what you will. Playing games is my take on the matter we will see.

I think he runs in the JLT no matter what the ground.

I won’t be backing Trafgic fluide as the horse looks to have lost interest in the game.

Dounikos announced as definitely RSA and price collapses with every bookmaker and on betfair.

Monalee announced as definitely(well not strictly speaking) RSA. Bookmakers price does not move, betfair sports book aside.

    You do the maths

Thats because dounikos was fav for the 4miler so his rsa price matched his inital target(4miler) now they confirmed that hes going rsa of course the price will shorten everywhere

Monalee was already at around his sp and still is, slight drift on exchange as some layers gamble he goes jlt

The maths add up just fine lol

The trainer has said if its bottomless jlt if its decent ground then rsa, again your going on nothing lol the weather will decide the target

NO it’s because the people in the industry believe that the truth is being told ref Dounikos.

The people in the industry aren’t buying the claim Monalee runs in the rsa.

Sorry to break this to you the trainers and owners genrerally speaking could not give two hoots about joe public. If they can put the masses away to line their own pockets then time and time again we see they have no qualms in doing so.

“Speaking on Racing UK’s Luck on Sunday programme, the trainer said: “We’d be leaning towards the RSA on what you would call normal Festival ground. That would be our preference, but if it came up soft or heavy, maybe we’d start looking at the JLT a little bit more.

“We’ll see what way the ground is nearer the time, but at the moment our preference would be the RSA.””

WE’D BE LEANING TOWARDS THE RSA= THE JLT IS VERY MUCH ON

WE’D BE LOOKING AT THE JLT A LITTLE BIT MORE= WE ARE LOOKING AT THE JLT LOTS ALREADY

WE WILL SEE NEARER THE TIME= EVEN THOUGH I HAVE IMPLIED TO YOU ALL THE RSA IS OUR TARGET WHEN I SWITCH TO JLT LAST MINUTE IRRELEVANT OF THE GROUND YOU CANT SAY I WAS LYING AS I WILL HAVE COME UP WITH A NEW REASON BY THAT TIME FOR GOING JLT. SCARED OF PRESENTING PERCY OR SOME OTHER SUCH RUBBISH.

You forgot to elaborate on “our preference is the rsa”

Please tell me what that means

OUR PREFERENCE IS THE RSA- WE PREFER THE RSA THOUGH WE REALLY REALLY LIKE THE JLT AND WE WILL PREFER THAT ONE ONCE I GET MY BET MATCHED AT THE RIGHT PRICE

Seriously if that is De Bromhrad confirming that Monalee runs in the RSA then I would love to see how he worded it when sitting on the fence.

He has confirmed nothing at all in that interview.

I’d be wary of discounting the Flogas form just because they finished in a heap, I think there was a very strong bunch of novices went into the race and most emerged with reputations intact. There may not be a superstar among them but they look a good bunch to me.

    Monalee – RSA/JLT
    Al Boum Photo – RSA
    Invitation Only – JLT
    Dounikos – RSA
    Snow Falcon – Ultima
    The Storyteller – Brown Advisory

I’d expect all of the above to give a good account of themselves next week, with The Storyteller and Snow Falcon probably making most appeal at current prices in the handicaps.
