It seems that every time there is a novice hurdle race in ireland ENVOI ALLENS form gets one way or another! hes beat a good deal of them coming through. unless something comes out of nowhere and smashes a good rival to pieces then all it comes down to is deciding where he goes, i think its here

I agree with FINALFURLONG91 a couple more runs at this sort of level should see him right. I liked what i saw those last 2 fences when he was asked to go he did enough. Id imagine he stays all day and the fact they missed some maybe that forced the race to be run alot quicker then he would like

MIDNIGHT RUN ran a solid race today. Giving weight away to the mare COOLREVY aswell. I would go as far to say thats probably the best result in regards to who a horse has beaten in these novice hurdles so far this season.

For me, CHARLIE87 i understand what your saying i just feel that ANDY DUFRESNE looked more the Ballymore type, Im happy either way though! Ive had both Envoi & Andy in Ballymore and Supreme doubles both way round B-)

I disagree i think they will keep ENVOI ALLEN in the supreme and have ANDY DUFRESNE at the ballymore

Funny you say that Andy4fingers. I said the exact same to a friend yesterday, What happens if this all doesn’t go to plan. Altior would go here again! And if your not backing him at 5/1 then that is madness.

Ive had a good few top ups on ANDY DUFRESNE & ENVOI ALLEN double. Both supreme and ballymore & different way round!

I have FURY ROAD in the Albert Bartlett and CHAMPAGNE CLASSIC in the National Hunt.

Ill probably have DEFI DU SEUIL in the Ryanair. BATTLEOVERDOYEN in the RSA. CHACUN POR SOI in the Champion Chase. RESERVE TANK in the JLT. FAKIR DOUDAIRES in the Arkle. FLORESSA in the Mares Novice Hurdle. BUVA DAIR in the Champion Hurdle.

I haven’t begun looking at the Gold Cup yet i do like SANTINI i think he will stay for days, If i had to pick now it would be BRISTOL DE MAI on the strength of his run this year, If its a mud bath then ill be flying into NATIVE RIVER

ANDY DUFRESNE for me. Looked the real deal was jumping like a pro. Like someone said on the SUPREME NOVICE HURDLE thread, I think ENVOI ALLEN will go to that as Elliot has suggested he has the speed for 2 miles

Obviously CHAMP is favourite based on his hurdling form, But I would say BEAKSTOWN will be right with him tomorrow
