those pics of him are sooooo sweet, i like the one where he is giving the owner a kissy how cute
will be watching out for him he’s famous already and he doesn’t even know how many legs he has
yeah will be the other lass in charge i can’t see michael owen getting his hands dirty tbh!
so jealous i want to be a trainer some day i study hard and work bloody hard and here comes along michael owen and it’s as easy as that to a a famous footballer
What makes someone an "excellent trainer"
It’s all about making the horses happy! i like a trainer that has good facilities and keeps things natural to the horse
simon earl isn’t exactly a world class trainer but he uses great methods training his horses using natural horsemanship with some great facilities too, it’s just a matter of time before he is getting lots of winners! he keeps his horses turned out as a herd, runs them without shoes and even uses a horse walker with salt water for the condition of the horses legs!
i think owners are cautious about putting their horses in with him for his strange way of training, most people just want to do what everybody else is doingnot so good, they need to be very careful it’s so contagious! and just not a very pleasant experience for any horse to be in
could have been something a lot worse i suppose, isn’t it 30 days before the stallions can come out of quarentine?
i hate the bloody cricket

i don’t think weight matters too much it just depends on the horse really, when age comes into it i think it depends on how the horse is developing physically, and how much weight he can carry until it effects his performance.
ground plays a big part in the horses performance more so than weight
just my opinion anyway
but a big strong powerful sprinter to me has the conformation to carry a big weight
that foal is gorgeous he looks a good size just by looking at him sitting down
im going to do a course at the national stud i noticed there was a good few mares in foal to some pretty decent stallions, galileo being one of them! although he doesnt stand there, i also recall ones being in foal to diktat, dubawi and grand slam!
i remember a yearling in the field by one cool cat, wont be long until he’s all bought and ready to be a little racehorse *fingers crossed*
hope the foal grows up nice and healthily with no ailments or problemsOH NO!
at least it hasn’t effected any the horses from the national stud i’m going there to work in october!
but it’s not good and it shouldn’t have happened
nicky is my favourite! he’s strong in a finish and stylish but i suppose everybody has their opinions.
getting worried for him though about luca putting jamie spencer on all the decent ones
not just a derby horse a true champ

i really love royal ascot! it’s so classy and rememerable
i would love to go to dubai and witness the dubai world cup
but that wont be for some time anyway lol
the ebor meeting isn’t the best in the world for me but it’s still top class and i can see why thomo said that
cheltenham clearly the best for the jumps though all the wayauthorized has proved he isn’t just a one trick pony! he is probably the best horse i’ve ever saw (im only young lol)
really excited to see the arc now i think he could do it, he seems to improve after every run!
he is booked to go to the darley stud when he has retired, will be following his progeny closely!yeah great performance from purple moon! although it makes me wonder why jamie spencer is always on luca cumani’s top horses! nicky mackay seems to be 2nd best!
and yes i know jamie spencer in most people’s eyes is a better jockey but you would think he would be given a chance ehr.i.p. woodman, hope hawk wing can live up to woodman’s name at stud as his son

Favourite sires! where to start!
obviously sadlers wells and danehill, danzig are amazing and their progeny will continue to do so well!
favourite national hunt sire is el gran senor
favourite flat sire is diktat
*shame about dubai millennium, i think he would have made a real name for himself*Is it true his yard is down because of a virus???
he came down to the northern racing college (was a student there at the time) to see us and have a word with the instructors, didn’t seem like he was a very busy man
