The Racing Page sounds good to me. Though I dont believe they pay much attention to racing.
good man marb, hope you got the 25s
It sometimes strikes me that some of Coolmore’s Jumps sires are among the best value out there. Why are so few Old Vics and Oscars campaigned under Flat rules (they have plenty of class about them)? And Westerner as a Jumps sire? In previous eras and, even at another stud nowadays, he would be a prize asset given his achievments and pedigree. It’s getting to the point that they have too many well-bred horses to choose from in selecting stallions to stand.
And what about Galileo’s full-brother Black Sam Bellamy who stood in Germany in 2007 at a fee of 6,000 euros? Surely he wont be so cheap in 2008. It also cant be too much of a long-shot that Coolmore will buy him back.
Emotional Article looks good to me. Has an ideal profile in terms of age and position in the handicap. Also was second lto in the Tralee race which the last two winners of this had won on their most recent outing. Ballycullen Boy, mentioned above, is unexposed but hardly priced up as a ‘dark horse’.

Is Scorpion inconsistent/unreliable? His form-figures certainly dont suggest so. Likewise, Harchibald received this sort of a abuse. Despite the fact that he was only once outside the first two in about ten outings at his peak (before injury apparently diminished him).
On Saturday jockeyship was the winning of the Irish St Leger and I certainly concur with the view that the will/right to win was stronger on one side.

Would love to read the descriptions you reserve for common-or-garden handicappers with half his ability/rating. Scorpion is a top horse and switch the jockeys on Saturday and he would have won another Group 1.
Tamimi’s History. Already been bought by Jim Ennis (from same source – Kevin Prendergast – as Faasel). Likely to go to Nicky Richards? Triumph Hurdle candidate (by same sire, Kalanisi, as last season’s winner). Alpine Eagle (Jessie Harrington) also a good prospective juvenile hurdler.
cheers for the insights
I find the Flat much more reliable for profitable punting but I still like the Jumps. If my punting experience were reversed I am not sure I would find much else to keep me interested in the Flat.

What Dettori and Hamilton have in common is that they are both usually aboard one of the faster vehicles.
So it is, wit.
Must remember to pay greater attention to detail.
AP,
I think that original link I posted has lived up to the downside of the word ‘provisional’ re the race you were interested in.
It doesnt seem to be on the actual programme
I had better mug up on the British form. I sense an invasion of British runners stealing ‘our’ prizes.

British ‘marks’ seem very competitive in Ireland (see wins for Sadlers Kingdom and Windbeneathmywings in recent weeks).
this might help, ap
Good man, Glenn

Peeping Fawn touching 11/4 on the exchange… ‘Big’ firms Hills and Coral going 11/8!
