I`ve just subscribed to Barstewardsenquiry, only 23 subscribers thus far. Nevertheless, looks
like a treasure trove of articles. Looking forward to dipping into them. Thanks for highlighting this.

Simon,
An another interesting addition to the portfolio. Marvellous
stuff. An interesting racing character for me would be Marten Julian. I don`t know if he has been considered/approached.
There is currently an auction with Graham Budd that has
lot numbers 112 and 113 relating to Timeform books:-https://www.grahambuddauctions.co.uk/Sporting-Memorabilia-Day-One/2019-11-04?gridtype=gridview
Follyhoog, I access it via the TuneIn radio app and always seems fine without any buffering.

Thanks for highlighting all these interviews, particularly enjoyed the 3 parter with Richard Hoiles.
However, having just read Harry the Dog’s bio, I can’t imagine you having an interview with him in the near future. Crikey, talk about not pulling your punches when talking about your governor.
Look forward to more of your interviews in the future.
Most unusual I have witnessed was the 1974 Queen Anne Stakes. The first 3 were
disqualified, Confusion – appropriately, Royal Perogative and Gloss. A very rare
occurrence and I would imagine unique at Royal Ascot. Also, take into account this was for interference and not taking the wrong course.April 17, 2017 at 23:04 in reply to: Book Review – 'Dorothy Paget' by Graham Sharpe and Declan Colley #1297236David,
I have downloaded it on iBooks and read it in one sitting. As usual a meticulous
review and in the main one that mirrored my feelings.Again, another racing eccentric whose life, if dramatised on TV, I’m sure would appeal to an wider audience than just racing folk. I ended up feeling quite sorry for the old gal, in spite of her wealth and social privileges. But a fascinating read about bygone days.
They did have an interview with Martin Pipe a number of years ago about his obsession with Dorothy Paget and ephemera he had obtained.
Must get the original work about her, Queen of the Turf, I believe.
Anyway, thanks for the review even if too late for me!
David,
All the best with your venture. Nice site as well, not
too cluttered like some.As an aside, there is a new book in the pipe-line on the eccentric Dorothy Paget,
due around 3/3/17. I suspect you may give us one of your reviews in the near future.Take care,
Dave
I did have Totopoly, but I’ve still got my Escaldo from the mid 60’s. Amazingly, all the cast-iron horses still have a leg in each corner.
Last week the RPGTv stated that a book was in the pipe-line about Harry the Dog, possibly available by Chrimbo. The author’s name alluded me, but he has been published previously.

Hi Nwalton,
I`ve just looked at the old sales catalogues on Graham Budd,
and this may give you a sort of guide:-A set of royal Blue Godolphin racing silks with the jacket and cap signed by Frankie Dettori,
by Gibson Saddlers of Newmarket, both signatures in black marker pen; sold together with a mounted colour photograph of Frankie performing a flying dismount in Godolphin colours, also signed in black marker pen by the jockey (3)Provenance:
Personally donated by Frankie Detorri to the Irish Horse Welfare Trust charity auction in 2005 and purchased by the current vendor.Sold for £100
That was in 2014, and it had a sound provenance.
Regards,
Dave
