Might I for me too HDLG and I’ve taken 8-1
I’m not betting Nube Negra on Sunday, but I’ve bet him for this at 12-1. I’ve always been a fan of the horse, and I think that he shouldn’t be that far away here.
Think I’ll join you Bob with Cyclop, but I’ll not have an ante-post bet. Southfield Harvest may be one for me as well, but he’s likely to be quite a short price
I’ve finally bet Slate House at 33-1 ew 5pls, though my bet on the day will be Midnight River. There are varying reports about him and his dependency on the ground, hence the wait
Didero Valis is my early bet at 40-1. He ran well in it last year, and he’s going to be running off a mark of 127, compared to 137 last year. I don’t know if he will be my main bet on the day, but I think that he’s a good bet at 40-1 just now
Thanks Bob, as usual I’m changing my mind constantly, so here goes nothing
Ahoy Senor
Allaho
Constitution Hill
Corach Rambler
Energumene
Envoi Allen
Galopin Des Champs
Honeysuckle
Jonbon
L’Homme PresseI quite like Teed Up for this, but the way Dads Lad won last week over fences has also pulled me towards him.
They’re both prominent enough in the betting though, and I’ll refrain just now
Slate House isn’t one to put the mortgage on, but he’s a big price on his best form, and he’s the one for me right now
I like Our Power tomorrow Roses, but I missed the price on him. I can’t miss that 33-1 though, and I think that’s worthy of my first bet here.
I like another outsider at 33-1, Mister Coffey, but only one bet just now
My first hope here was that I didn’t want my Grand National bet, The Galloping Bear to get an entry, and I hope that this confirms that they’ll be protecting his mark
I’m happy to take Tea Clipper here as the main bet, and Up The Straight will be my backup at a bigger price
Corach Rambler is my choice too, and I’m pleasantly surprised with the opening price
Spoon, I agree that Envoi Allen is possibly worth going with here. He was just ok I thought last year, but hopefully the trip can bring out some more improvement. I hope that is the case, as otherwise it’s my first wasted selection in VtC’s Ten To Follow
I’ve lost more than enough money on old Riders Onthe Storm over the last few years, so why stop now. I took 18-1, and though it won’t pay back my losses on him, I’ll be delighted if he does it
It’s definitely a race where I’d like more than one selection, so I’ve went with Early Doors at 16-1 and Hurricane Georgie at 22-1
Well done lads with Dingo Dollar.
Bob, Sandy has been good to you over the years, and I think that you’ll have another good year from him by the look of things.
I hope that If The Cap Fits make it
Bob, I’m back on dry land again, well for a couple of weeks anyway. I hope you and yours as well. You know I’m not a Flat man, but what were your thoughts on Escobar dropped back to 6 yesterday?
Interesting bet in The Cesarewitch with Favourite Moon, you’d have to be chuffed with him the other day. I thought he looked undercooked, but still won well.
Is The Ten To Follow back this year?
Oh and well done with The National Stakes, another JOB horse for you to make hay with no doubt
I’m torn between Jeremys Flame, Fire Attack, and Hewick.
Nice line up in store here, and I’ll bet two of the above.
