Priced up already by Betfair, and Paddy Power……

I thought the Emmet Mullins pair of The Shunter and Cape Gentleman would be interesting here, and get to have a look
at the latter tomorrow in The Kerry National.Celebre D’Allen slightly disappointed last time, but I think he’s worth another go in something like this, and same applies to Palmers Hill. Not really involved in The Topham, but this could be ideal.
My long term fancy for this is Torn and Frayed. Not seen since winning here in January, and assuming all is well, he still looks on a fair mark. Good attitude that day, but the absence means I’m not tempted right now by 12’s
Definitely waiting for the entries, but I’ll keep an eye on how the market goes anyway
Adding Janika to the shortlist. He’s maybe one for the big December handicap here, but he showed glimpses of promise last year, and at a very big 50’s, he’s hard to ignore with that plummeting mark.
Early Shortlist
Celebre D’Allen
Janika
Palmers Hill
Torn and FrayedOctober 1, 2022 at 12:24 #1616550This is definitely not an ap race for me at this stage, but I would be quite interested to see if Pic D’Ohry gets an entry
October 1, 2022 at 12:43 #1616562Call me a big scaredy cat, but I’d like to see the actual entries and weights before having a bet.

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"October 26, 2022 at 11:40 #1620293Despite not being in the antepost market, i was hoping to see Demachine entered and he has been. Sadly he’s been priced up at 16s which is a touch disappointing but i think i will take it anyway. His best trip is a stiff 2 and a half miles which he’d get here. Runs well fresh too. Kerry Lee won the race a few years back with Happy Diva.
October 26, 2022 at 12:35 #1620310Ga law is surely the interesting one.
Zero benefit in playing the ante post on it but if he hadn’t belted 3 out at Aintree on Sunday he would have won the old roan snugly after nearly 2 years off.
October 28, 2022 at 07:37 #1620592Mister Fisher is obviously well handicapped on some form, but Irish plans may hold precedence in my thinking.

I’ll wait again, but Mister Fisher and Beakstown are the two that I like from
the entriesOctober 28, 2022 at 22:25 #1620686Slate House isn’t one to put the mortgage on, but he’s a big price on his best form, and he’s the one for me right now
October 30, 2022 at 11:57 #1621002My TTF horse Silver Hallmark gets his pipe opener for this today, might need the run but hoping for a good spin as I’ve backed him for this already. Comes with a health warning obvs.
October 30, 2022 at 14:11 #1621033Mister Fisher likes bossing small fields in chases. 4,8,4,6 so far. I backed him at Kempton in a ‘small runner race’ last season and he duly obliged. Don’t think he would enjoy this test much.
November 2, 2022 at 17:17 #1621343Spiritofthegames is an old hand in races like this, and I’m a little surprised to see him at 33-1. He’s down in the weights, but he’s ran well two runs back in The Topham, and is more than capable of getting involved. Should he not be declared for The Grand Sefton, then I’ll bet him 33-1 ew
November 6, 2022 at 15:47 #1622024Had one in mind for this but been waiting for the weather forecast as he don’t want it soft looking at his form. Dry and very mild conditions set fair Wednesday onwards.
GA Law 17-2 ew
November 6, 2022 at 21:05 #1622066What an underwhelming field, possibly the worst I can remember, summing up the current state of the game over here. I don’t fancy any of them (apart from Mullins’ one, obv).
November 6, 2022 at 21:34 #1622070The Shunter ran a great non-trier prep race in a 2m handicap at Naas today. A never nearer fourth kept on towards the finish without troubling anyone. Today’s race should have him spot on for his next assignment, wherever that might be.
November 7, 2022 at 14:35 #1622122I’m not going to have an ap bet here, but the two of them that I’m most interested in right now are Demachine, and Stolen Silver
November 7, 2022 at 18:34 #1622162Stolen Silver definitely my main hope right now. I’ve had an early punt
