Pleased to see Umbrigado still in there. I’m on the verge of having a decent bet, but his record of late withdrawals, and his entry for The Stayers Hurdle at Haydock is holding me back.
He’s still 20’s, and I think that’s big, so a wee bet just now, with a bigger bet if he actually gets declared. He’s the only one I’m intending betting at the moment, though no doubt I’ll have a good look at Coole Cody on the day. I’m hoping that Editeur Du Gite goes for The Shloer
Umbrigado 20’s

November 9, 2022 at 19:27 #1622399I’ve finally bet Slate House at 33-1 ew 5pls, though my bet on the day will be Midnight River. There are varying reports about him and his dependency on the ground, hence the wait
November 10, 2022 at 10:56 #1622429Still like the look of Ga Law for this. If he was fitter and not having his first run for 2 years he would of scooted in st Aintree the other week and been a strong fav for this.
November 10, 2022 at 14:11 #1622448If he doesn’t bounce he has a pretty good chance TC i reckon. Lump on. ;o)
November 10, 2022 at 22:48 #1622485I also like Ga Law for this one. Backed him for the Old Roan Chase and there he made a big error 4 out. He still ran a great race after such a long lay-off. I also like Simply the Betts. A real class horse back to a winnable mark.
Ga Law 6/1
Simply The Betts 20/1 EWNovember 10, 2022 at 22:53 #1622486Backed Nassalam at 20s and
Coole Cody at 16sCouldnt leave out CC, as he loves it around here, although i reck he’d like it softer. Same prob goes for Nassalam, so why the hell i backed him flock only knows?🤣
November 11, 2022 at 01:15 #1622491I’ve got to back Cool Cody as well as I’d hate to not be cheering for him if he’s in with a shout at the last fence. I’ve backed Happy Go Lucky as well.
November 11, 2022 at 18:24 #1622571Galahad Quest running off a lower mark than when fifth in this last year is my main bet in this with Slate House at a big price for a bit of fun.
Really open renewal, for all it isn’t the strongest.
November 12, 2022 at 13:55 #1622754Il ridito and Coole cody for me , was keen on happygolucky but sadly he,s a nr , stable form and wind opp make il ridito a play , read Nicholls changed his feed as he wasn’t happy with his horses last year , it’s def made a difference , Coole Cody could jump around here blindfolded , after his pipe opener he should be bang on for this , I’ll be watching old Slate House closely to but no play ….yet ….50s is to big though
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
November 12, 2022 at 14:16 #1622764I really ought to stop backing unsound horses antepost.
Nassalam (he should jump better going left handed woth something to aim at) and
Simply the Betts (no prep run but trainer says he is fit) are my ew bets here.
I’m interested in Midnight River too but can’t bet em all.
November 12, 2022 at 14:18 #1622767Always entertain watching Maxwell hang on , Simply could well run well
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026

Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
November 12, 2022 at 14:30 #1622771Well done TC, Mike and DBR

They looked to be going a right clip to start with. Hard luck Stolen Silver backers. Midnight River one to follow perhaps. Honourable mention to David Maxwell, at least he kept a good position for most of the race and kept in contention till he/the horse bungled the second last
November 12, 2022 at 14:34 #1622774Ta all.
He didn’t jump very well whole race so fair play to the horse.
