Yeah DBR, it’s just the fact that they’re persevering with him. Up against on last years form, but he’s been dropped a fair bit, understandably for his age of course.

I’m trying to stop putting up sentimental selections (bet Euchen Glen last weekend, but couldn’t put him up as a selection with a straight face), but I just think he can dig out one more big run.

Major Dundee, Tea Clipper, and your shout Annsam, who I’ve bet many times are all big fancies, but I’m sticking with old Encore.

Could easily have got 25’s in the week, but I’ll go with 20’s just now, and might even have more on. It’ll be a nervous watch with him.

I’ve got two in this, with Annsam at 9-1, and Good Boy Bobby at 20-1

I’m happy to take Tea Clipper here as the main bet, and Up The Straight will be my backup at a bigger price

Kittys Light is my main selection for the Grand National and while I expect him to do his best work in the latter stages of the season; I can’t let him go at the prices today, in case they decide to take in a decent pot along the way.

Tea Clipper looks quite useful and for win purposes he’ll be my main bet in this.

I’ve backed Tea Clipper ante post, though partly because I felt sure he’d run and I’d hoped the race would cut up – it hasn’t.

Travelled and jumped beautifully at Chepstow but 3lb up for that and could hardly be called well handicapped.

I backed Our Power as he’s in my 10 To Follow but I thought he’d place today, as they were targeting other races later this year.
    Maybe he has plenty left

Decent form, first three went well clear, but the BHA Handicappers tend not to like that sort of thing.
