F U not great formlines but he was running a good race and had got round well in big field up to that point so imho no one to blame at all as he was up there at the last.
Its a shame but if you want jump racing you get fatalities simple as that .

Vauban entered in Sky High Stakes at Rosehill this weekend , fresh up , had a couple decent trials . Decent entries so won’t be easy .
About 600k AUD ran back so far since transfer , if it was million quid sale he still has a bit to do . One big hit will do it this Autumn .

Had read up on Brentford Hope , great work by connections , they could have rammed him round a bit more , tried a few things , ran him down ratings but they took right decision as horse owes them nothing .

Jonbon out , Fact to File in this I reckon , confidence must be in last year’s GC winner to do biz again . A long line but Iam getting on the repeat win in Gold Cup now .

One of the great efforts imho , to beat the yanks at their own game in their backyard.
A race that sticks in my mind as does Mr Brooks .
Its a racing injury that happens ,the ones i dont understand is the horses that constantly run round the back , go out at 100 plus to 1 and still get put round and end up a fatality and the connections upset . Pointless , people have to accept when a horse has no ability as a racehorse .

Freedman’s interview after the 3rd win was great ” go out and find the smallest child on course today , because that is the only person who might see this done again because none of us will ” .
    A fantastic horse .

Entain have brought NZ Tab a few years back , they are pouring money into it , prizemoney etc etc . Rumour has it they will be dialing it back as soon as the initial agreement for prizemoney runs out . Its all the sport betting , i think racing side of things unhealthy .
I can see an outside company unconnected with racing not wanting unwanted headlines .

Imho if he gets to MC he wins or goes v v close , 50 50 on going Spring in Melbourne , scan , some crunching falls but low miles . Its the 3 year olds they get a sweat on .
The scans are BS anyway , any number kicked out go well later with zero issues .

50 50 to run , schooling session today in RP .
The BHA needs to step in here and have a word with them .

If you drive through a red light at 50 in a car and get through ok it dont make it right , if he wins it still shows no regard for the horse . The horse dont know hes won a second champion hurdle .
If he runs the cherry on top pre race is ” we just want him home safe ” that old worn out line .

Likewise Oscar , id like to go Deauville . From what ive seen on you tube traditional old buildings , looks very smart .Be great to hear from people who have been.
Ive never been racing in France , would love to get around a few one day .

Clarefontaine racecourse is next door to Deauville .
Bit like Doomben and Eagle Farm in Brisbane two big tracks one side of road to other .

A novice chaser was 2nd in last MC , he only needs to place in group 3 over 2300 plus to qualify , he will get enough weight from that in all likelihood then they can set there own path . Adverse scans could scupper him , but Ozzies will love him , a horse that was finished fronting up will go off the scale

They talking Melbourne Cup i see in RP . If they really think hes a chance and they not talking crap theres no decision. One race worth peanuts in world racing , one ten times as much . The trophies alone worth three times Champion Hurdle purse .
100k plus crowd on course , massive week whole country buy into v a jumps race hes already won and now hes a kamakazi jumper .
If he gets into Melbourne Cup and theres a decent chance he gets sone give in ground he could absolutely bolt up , he could be levels above any Aussie plodder .

He wont go , would have scans to pass , ground likely too firm but he would lap most of Melbourne Cup field with bit of give in ground .

I thought his engine had gone , i know he beat average field , but ive watched it three times and it was a joy to watch , i suspect i will watch it a few more , it was so smooth .
He is worth a good go on flat , stay clear of hurdles .
Not a lot is unforgiveable , killing him over hurdles would get close to that line imho .
Well done to yard for producing him so well .
Miles v low in those legs so 9 only a number .

Hes had horses with Henderson for decades , Tinryland was pretty handy early 90s , had different racing colours back then , black and white quartered top.
