CCB is the one.
People will have only just stopped drooling over Dunguib’s Supreme win and then just as the Dunguib droolers think they can stop drooling, they’ll have to drool again over CCB’s Arkle win.
It’s going to be special.
I have Pittoni at 25s for the Triumph and was happy enough with the run. Pace was so farcical though that it’s hard to read much into it. Was a 4f sprint and he was quickest, that’s all we can say.
Dunguib should go for the Arc
Some will write that off as a daft suggestion but I really think they should test this horse on the flat and find out how good he is. He is an absolute freak. Doubt it will happen but would be amazing to see.
On that evidence, I think it’s fair to assume that Denman would have destroyed this lot today.
Oh yes, and Notre Pere clearly needs all of six miles.

And Joncol wont even run in the Ryanair now! Not a 21/2m speed horse, he wants a test,he could be a Gold cup horse next year though!

Today was essentially a 2m4f race. I don’t like NP but he was given no chance by Lynch holding him up off that dawdle
Red Moloney can outclass this lot
Will Knowhere even get into the race with his plummeting mark? Backed him twice this season but the horse is past it imo.
I think Some Present will go well – you can forgive hm his last run on account of the fact that he’d had a lot of races in quick succession and that may have been one too many. If the break has freshened him up he’ll be there or thereabouts. However I don’t think he’ll be seen to best effect until we see him get a big field and fast pace – visually looks to be crying out for it. I’d like him to run ‘ok’ tomorrow – but not too well – as I think he could be a good tbp bet at a big price in whatever festival race he goes for.
Despite being 1/3 tomorrow and 5/4 for Cheltenham I think there is more chance of him getting turned over tomorrow than at the Festival. If he were mine I’d pull him out and go straight to the Supreme. And that’s not just because I’ve steamed into Whodoyouthink at 28/1 antepost

Cheers mate
Actually think it could be Notre Pere’s turn tomorrow
Tomorrow’s race is over 3 miles, not 5 miles.
That’s funny, I thought Notre Pere finished 2nd to Neptune Collonges in this last year.

He hets slower with every run. He’ll need 5m4f after tomorrow’s race

PoS is my biggest e/w bet of the festival at 16s, 14s and some 11s. Should be just about favourite.
Anyone know if Whodoyouthink is an intended runner in this? Thanks
I’m surprised some people question Tidal Bay’s attitude.
He has an awkward head carriage (the equine version of Paula Radcliffe), but I consider his tenacity his greatest attribute. He put up one of the most admirable weight carrying performances of last season when lugging top weight around Wetherby over three miles, despite never jumping or travelling with any consistency.
I thought he ran like a pig myself that day

I’ve never understood quite why people get so excited by a horse carrying 11-12 and running an ok race
Touch wood this looks quite easy and a good value race to play in.
At the weights it looks like a straight shoot out between Racing Demon and Tidal Bay. Tidal Bay has become a bit frustrating and on grounds of value I will go for Racing Demon as my main bet with just a saver on TB.
Racing Demon – 3pts WIN @ 6/1 (Ladbrokes)
Tidal Bay – 1pt WIN @ 3/1 (William Hill)I think 10/3 RD, 11/4 TB would be a more accurate reflection of their chances.
I’ve just had my max bet on Celestial Halo with Ladbrokes at their very generous price of Evens. Don’t think tht price will last the day. I make him no bigger than a 4/7 shot in this. The bigger 2m1f track will be far more to his liking than the Champion Hurdle track. Furthermore he will be rock hard fit whereas his only realistic rival Punjabi may not be. And even if Punjabi is at 100% I’d still fancy the Halo to beat him well enough. Nice way to earn 100% interest in 5 days anyway.
Chapoturgeon to win this and the Ryanair. Provided he stands up
