Assuming the intention is to run Whodoyouthink looks massively overpriced for this. I would have him as second favourite.

Having chased home the very useful Summit Meeting (forget the last run) it looked like he improved for the drop back in trip when bolting up over course and distance. I can’t think of too many more impressive maiden winners this season.

If everything remains in I will be looking to back him again in the market without Dunguib.

I think Mullins has left the wrong horse in here. Fionnegas wants 20f, I reckon, and Rhyl Accord wants dropped back in trip, after appearing to be outstayed in two defeats over further.

The line up put a huge smile on mu face I can tell you  11/2 about a 1/3 is what dreams are made off…….just don’t tell me it’s going to be frozen off, rained off or Dunguib stands on a stone.

I would imagine he’d want a good blow before heading for the Supreme so Dunquib

    plus

X lengths with Cashmans around 1/1 (I’m guessing) could be a worthile bet.

Anyone know if Whodoyouthink is an intended runner in this? Thanks

He’s trying to put us all away Grassy – you’re looking at the wrong Mullins horse ;)

Keep asking myself why he would leave Morning Supreme in

A Dunguib-Some Present forecast looks the bet.

Harry Findlay now has a horse with Willie Mullins.

Alexander Seaview…had a mountain of a reputation. Bought of Noel o Callaghan.

One for the novice hurdles at the festival. Entered in the 2m5 and 3m

Despite being 1/3 tomorrow and 5/4 for Cheltenham I think there is more chance of him getting turned over tomorrow than at the Festival. If he were mine I’d pull him out and go straight to the Supreme. And that’s not just because I’ve steamed into Whodoyouthink at 28/1 antepost

Just backed Some Present at 20/1, thats a massive price. In my mind he’s the most likely horse to follow Dunguib home.

I think Some Present will go well – you can forgive hm his last run on account of the fact that he’d had a lot of races in quick succession and that may have been one too many. If the break has freshened him up he’ll be there or thereabouts. However I don’t think he’ll be seen to best effect until we see him get a big field and fast pace – visually looks to be crying out for it. I’d like him to run ‘ok’ tomorrow – but not too well – as I think he could be a good tbp bet at a big price in whatever festival race he goes for.

Will be interesting if Some Present runs up against General Miller at Cheltenham this weekend.

I really do fancy Loosen My Load as a great EW Bet if he is in the Supreme.

With Some Present finishing behind Dunguib last year at Chelts and being beaten by LML at Chelts over hurdles earlier this season it would give some pretty decent form lines to work with.

Just be nice to know which races these horses are going for.

    Makes it fun though

That’s ridiculous – no Grade 1 race, however weak, should be won like that.

I know I’ve said it many times before but he’s going to be frightening off a strong pace and I can’t see anything getting within 10 lengths of him at Cheltenham.

    Stunning.

With the absence of an English challenge not sure today’s race told us much more about Dunguib. It is like watching a Flat horse against NH horses. So far it appears only the hurdles can get in the way.

Not suggesting for one moment that he would have got near the winner but I suspect Whodoyouthink is a little better than that. He was never travelling at any stage.

That was class personified. Have you ever seen a jumps horse travel so easily during races? I honestly think Dunguib would hack up were he to enter the Champion Hurdle. As for the Supreme – who will be second? He’s that good. I heard the commentator say that one punter had 50,000 Euros on the horse. I’ll bet, like Dunguib, he never turned a hair.

Are the likes of Binocular, Zaynar, Solwhit, Go Native et al really that far in front of Dunguib ?! I don’t so. I would readily take any of them on at Aintree or Punchestowns – and I’d be confident of beating them. In the words of Ted Walsh; he’s a helluva horse ! 8)

I don’t see why he need to hurdle better….he just blows the ^uck*&^ out of the ground. He is like a machine.

Fionnegas ran a great race and has a great chance in what ever race he goes for

I think that’s the million dollar question "H" and there’s no way of telling.

As far as the race went today he wasn’t fluent at his hurdles he was just ok but I’d put that down to him travelling so slowly…….for him I mean.

He doesn’t even look like a champion Hurdler to me.
He’s like a chaser with such a high crusing speed you would think he’d been superimposed into a video of a hurdle race being run in slow motion.

It’s not like you could say he’s got bundles left in the tank as nothing is good enough to find out.

As far as the Champion Hurdle goes it is a different world and I would really worry if he ran in it. I’d be tempteted though as it doesn’t look a great race with Hurricane Fly and Binocular not coming on like I thought they would…..Next year HF could be back guns blazing so why wait for what could be his biggest stumbling block come 2011. Win the CH this year then go chasing…I say.
