Oi oi – great ride from Fehily, nice bit of 33s about a 15/8 shot, those long shot doubles come in sometimes

Merry Xmas and a prosperous New Year Gord and all your family and followers

Nath: I fancy the tricast, so here goes
Silviniaco Conti
Menorah
Johns Spirit
cheersI’ve backed Foxrock, horse WILL win a decent race this season – just hope it’s this one!
I originally backed Don Poli for the RSA after his run last season but after reading a few Irish newspapers and listening to Willie and Patrick Mullins I’ve opted to back him in doubles and trebles for the NH Chase just in case

Gord: some nice looking horses (and bets) set for the festival. As you agreed Peace and Co looked extremely impressive but the one I am most confident about and looking forward to is Don Poli in the NH Chase, Mullins is extremely eager to ride him in this race

Gord: seeing such a young, inexperienced horse swinging off the bit like that was unbelievable, hope he stays fit and as you say that’s one of the trickiest races at the festival put to bed

Took 12s Peace and Co and OMG how impressive was he for a young horse
One for you tomorrow, Squire 550 Kempton, horse is very highly regarded and not out to earn a handicap mark, very good EW bet but could just nick it
Having backed Ballybough Gorta I have also nibbled at Lion na Bearlai at a tasty 50s, has course form and a nice weight

Nicholls Canyon for me, jumped very well and quickened up nicely
Guessing game of course but it looks like VL could be RSA bound so I am still happy with Apache Stronghold after he lost ground jumping left at the weekend which he won’t lose at the Festival
Green Flag for me with an EW saver on Ballybough Gorta from the very capable Peter Bowen yard who love this race.
With all the doubts over Sire de Grugy and SS how about a 40/1 shot of Western Warhorse?
Looking more and more like Jonjo only wants Cheltenham winners – come on bookies push out More of That to 5s

I’ve stuck with an old favourite in Houblon des Obeaux EW at 40s even though he is really up against it.
My main bet is from one of my fav yards that is really firing at weekends now and if Rocky Creek can improve enough from his Down Royal opener he must go close at 12s.
I will cover both in RFC with Gords Smad Place

Gord: I only want him to turn up for the KG, at least get a run for my chance to win
