They have a young Irish lad riding him but the name has gone! Agreed, Paint the Clouds is a massive danger.
Well after disappointing on the gallops on Thursday, that bumper winner of Gigginstown could be a nice sort, the 2nd will win NTO and improve drastically once hurdling, the 3rd is also very nicely bred and will win races. I’ve taken the 20s for the bumper but it’s anyone’s guess who Mullins will send

Gord: Agreed, I’m sure they all hoped he would have hosed up and then moved on but these things don’t happen after such a long time off!
Are you not concerned about DBs previous runs at Cheltenham? Fully understand the genius that is Paul Nicholls could have ironed any niggles out!
Good luck with the bet – after that race I’m sure Gary Moore is licking his lips in anticipation and I can see Mr Mullins dropping Champagne Fever all the way back to 2 miles

I actually believe we will NOT see Sprinter Sacre on the track again, too many problems to overcome, he was about 85% fit taking trainers comments into account, Gord has excellent 40/1 about DB but the horse isn’t that good round Chelts however Nicholls is the man to improve these chasers!!
For me Sire de Grugy is the horse to beat and should he come back successfully he will be fav for sure
Gord: interesting and very well bred newcomer today in the bumper at Leop, JETT is very well related and in excellent hands, could be an interesting one today and deffo for the future
. However, word on the course is that Mullins entrant could be his best bumper entry for festival!Youre sitting pretty with Dodging Bullets as I cannot have Sprinter Sacre turning the tables, I would not at all be surprised if we do not see the Dark Destroyer back on the track again sadly.
The Pertemps is always a cracker but like you I seem to do well and have pulled off some cracking wins and massive places.
I’ve followed you in with Sybarite as I like connections but my fancy at 14s (win only) is Nicky Henderson’s Cup Final – probably too inexperienced to be fair BUT if he sneaks in off 136 he could go close, and more importantly at a lot shorter than 14s

As always a good read and hopefully a good few winners too

I will be dumbfounded if HF goes here – even at his age he will make the young pretenders go. For this race I am on Zarkandar EW at nice prices and have allowed my heart to make me back RoR to win just because it’d make for an awesome story.
Saying that IF Jonjo gets More of That back to his best he wins!!
Great read as always Gord, I’m normally in the same camp as you but Day One we differ but can see why you have opted for the ones you have, il put mine up in the hope that you don’t mind!
Supreme: Silver Concorde EW and Nicholls Canyon
Arkle: Vautour
Champion: I am firmly in the TNO camp and have 11/2 but Faugheen looks class and have backed him in trebles just in case!
Festival Chase: agree with Our Father as he has been set up for this, clear as owt!!
Mares: I have been backing Glens Melody EW regularly and if Annie doesn’t rock up here will win
NH Chase: having backed Don Poli at big odds I’m gutted he is RSA bound but have covered that race too as I love the horses chance, I’m on The Young Master win only and have wasted money EW on Very Wood at 25sGord: any plans for the weekend? I’m treating the missus to a day at Wetherby races on Saturday if you fancy it

The weeks will fly by and the curtain will be raised, the corks will be popped, the ring pulls yanked and the cheers will be deafening – cannot bloody wait

Gord : I can only guess that the newer readers and voters misplace your confidence as arrogance and a lack of self appraisal

Reading back your last years bets was a great read and I doubt even the mighty Ginger one could match your ability to get to £5k.
Tell us More was very disappointing today, just hope it was the heavy ground
VtC does it again – yee haaaa, well done mate
Happy to have Apache Stronghold covered for RSA and JLT and hope he goes for the latter as going right handed Valseur Lido won’t beat him

Surely after today Don Poli must be RSA bound and Valseur Lido heading towards the JLT? I would guess Very Wood may be heading for the 4 miler
Gord: very happy with 2 of my festival runners today: my banker Don Poli has to be RSA bound now surely which will please Darren as Valseur Lido would have to be rerouted to JLT however I am firmly in the Apache Stronghold camp for this race as he will never run right handed again, different horse left handed!!
Faugheen was awesome and whatever Willie Mullins says about Ruby having a difficult choice if the Fly gets there fit and well, not in a month of Sundays would he jump off Faugheen.
After Silviniaco Conti easily landed the 33s for me in a brilliant run at Kempton – I have some tasty EW dockets with 12s on them for the Gold Cup
the cheek pieces ala See More Business have improved this lad!!Your Champagne Fever will make Dynaste go in the Ryanair, some majestic races to savour, let’s hope they all make it safe and sound
