The horse was gone when in Australia, it was due to be retired at the end of last season when up comes someone with a shedload of dosh.
Brilliant bit of business by Bart, Dato and Tunku.

He must have been some horse at his peak.

The obvious ones are already given out, A similar chance but hidden under a bushel is Forjatt, who I think will run very well and could be the proverbial "group horse in a handicap"

The man is a fool, his odds should represent the chance of the horse winning, not the chance of the horse winning the race. His bet odds would then be anything better than 8/11. He would then back them all!

Will all you Denman knockers push the price out to 6/4 please.

I’ve heard some shite, but jaysus to come up with anything from that line up that can get withing 20 lgth of him takes some doing. He should be 2/5.

I was delighted to read he had no chance in the paper but I thought you lot would know better.

    :D

Lots of standout moments on the track and in the ring but the thought that will stick with me the longest is watching the Parade of Heroes on Tuesday. To see those great horses, most of which have been previously backed, all in the ring at the same time was fantastic.
Those horses loved returning to Cheltenham and it seemed to me that everyone of them knew where they were and were glad to be back. To see them fizzing and buzzing enjoying themselves and basking in the atmosphere was a pleasure, hopefully that memory will stay with me a long time.

put more on the fun bets, double, treble or quadruple the stake. if you get sick of losing you may wise up. If your not horrified by your loses you will never learn.

Medermit has little chance in the Arkle.IN my view he has not been campaigned with Cheltenham in mind, "Any race at Cheltenham".

Saying that, its expected that he takes in a run there. The pressure to run there is ridiculous at times.

If the ground came up very soft or heavy you would have to say that would improve his chances a touch.

    Anthony,

I was expecting to find war and peace un-formatted, its only a couple of paragraphs.

Why don’t you cut and paste it into something more readable and forward it to them Via E-mail. They may be grateful, and it would be constructive.

I live 2 mile from the course and the frost is out of my Lawns already. I cant for the life of me imagine that another two hours would not see the course raceable.

These two recent very early cancellations seem to be a massive over reaction to the incident when everyone was kept on tenterhooks until very late on a couple of months ago.

In my opinion thats twice he’s has got it wrong recently. He is not half costing that course some money tellwrong. It would be interesting to see a tv report on the ground, after all they are already there.

A far more palpable outcome has been achieved by this course of action than otherwise would have been obtained with all the rigmarole of going through the courts etc.

A nice little race but I just cant make up my mind which one will win.

QDLR – Has bags of ability and conditions to suit
TGJB – Looks the most progressive of the bunch
CG – Nothing in his favour
    HOTP – Ratings pick

The best bet is to Place lay CG has no chance really until the ground improves. HOTP on paper has the makings of a gold cup horse but has yet to prove it on the track. The winner will come from the other two.

    Profit Warning Excuses

    1) The snow and ice in Ireland has severely affected the supply of Irish lottery numbers, We fully expect profit to resume to normality once the, historically robust, number supply chain is reinstated.

Yesterday evening, I watched a news report about the chances of Kempton’s Boxing Day meeting being on – the turf track was tested by the clerk of the course. It looked very green and seemed ok to him, and me.

If the meeting is cancelled, then it must be due to adverse conditions out with the track itself.

I saw the same report and was very hopeful, he even commented that the ground was warming due to the covers being on and it sweating and also was melting the snow above.
