Hello,
Just been reviewing the field.
One good run that went partially unnoticed due it’s finishing position, about 6th, PHILSON, at Haydock.
3m 6f, came with a great run and seemed all over the winner until a cropper at the second last.
It was it’s first run for some time.
An Eider winner, it will get the trip. I don’t think it will win, but I can see it creeping thru beaten horses’ for a place. ;)

Hello,
Willie Carson, he only has minor faults like,
> cannot remember a Classic Winning Horse’s name at Newmarket, Epsom and Doncaster on the day of Classics’.
> cannot remember a horse’s name in a race up and coming in 5 minutes, with full race card in front of him.
> cannot remember horse’s name 5 minutes AFTER a race, with full race card in front of him.
> Cannot remember Race’s Name and time, of the horse whose name he cannot remember 5 minutes prior to that race.
> Cannot remember the last race the unremembered horse ran in, nor can he remember if it won, lost or even ran it , because he cannot remember.
> As a breeder, cannot remember the unremembered horse’s sire or dam, that he actually bred.
> simply cannot remember Numbers, including the number of the unremembered winner, loser, or non runner.
> CAN remember if he rode a particular horse’s sire or dam, but as he cannot remember the actual horse’s name he is referring to, his memory must be flawed.
> When he somehow grasps what maybe a horse’s name is, he will misquote that name, instead of BLUE SPINNAKER, he will call it BLUE SPINNACH. RED EVIE becomes RED BEAVER . :( and SIR PERCY becomes LORD PERCIVAL.
> If given a chance by McGrath, Carson will give the third horse home as the winner, the second as third and the winner as very unlucky!.
> Responds to Viewers E-Mails with absolute garbage, instead of saying simply, "I don’t know"
> Says TROY at least 15 times a week, and is puzzled by the fact that Brad Pitt took the part of the horse in the great Equine Blockbuster.
> Fondly remembers his great fun with the lads in the weighing room. although undisputedly being a grand jockey, no one liked him :(
But all, in all a great pundit….:)
More Night Nurse please!

Hello,
Nice post, very philosophical and hits the spot.
Now, ask the nurse for some "Uppers" before you drift even futher into nostalgia [ain’t what it used to be!], and start blubbering!! :).
Oh! and don’t overact when the nurse draws the screens around you, they don’t have the same implications in a hospital as on the racecourse! :)
Get well soon, Large….:) :)

Hello,
The "authorities" and press have discussed for years’ about setting a definitive day and bringing the Flat Season in with a "bang". i.e. The Lincoln, Brocklesby, and supporting, good prize races’ all on one day, televised etc……
But nowt’s been done…:(

Hello,
I thought ORCHARD SUPREME ran a reasonable race against G.D. on Saturday. Probably 1m 2f a tad too far for it, and got blocked once.
Is he in the Lincoln ??
He is running today at Lingfield, this could be some sort of indicator to G/Deal’s chances on Saturday.
Over the last few years’ AW form has translated well in the Lincoln, whether it a fitness reason, I ain’t sure. But the trend now is that AW form should be take very seriously in the Lincoln, and possibly used as a swaying factor in coming up with your selection. :)

Hello,
Good summing up Jim, the more I look at it, the more difficult it appears…may only deal in small money, but on what? Still think ORCHARD SUPREME could be the surprise package, but not a mortgage job!:)

Hello,
The greatest concern is for the Shop workers, their wages ain’t exactly handsome, now it wouldn’t surprise me if the Big bookies, like Ladbrokes, will FORCE employees take on extended, unsocial hours for miniscule reward….B*******!
It also wouldn’t surprise me that the B’s enforce a NO UNION policy as well, which will leave them out in the cold…
Where is Karl Marx when you need him :)
Political Rant over…

Hello,
Having sobered up a bit, sorry if the post offended anyone, particularly the ladies of the Forum.
But I still think there is room for joviality on the forum, but probably not directed at a particular person who cannot defend themself. It was offensive and juvenile.
I am glad to get that off my chest [doh…done it again!:( ]
I am now making my way to Superdrug to stock up on Night Nurse and Benalyn [the one that MAKES you drowsy!!:) ], to watch KASBAH BLISS win the stayers.
