Hello,
Someone just commented "poor horses", what fightens me is that "people" could have died, and I have owned over 60 horses.
It is a fact standards have dropped, you pay for waht you get-instead of regular electrical checks, you give free race cards, that is YOUR decision. You are accountable, but you find LORD BAGSHIT will wriggle themselves out of it.So please stop this diatribe of nonsense, but also be alert, that a race goer, (person) could be under the same threat as these "poor horses"

I find this discussion absolutely unbelievable!!

I am not a young man, but the lack of standards throughout my insignificant life, it was inevitable it would effect as equally the pastime of the rich, horse racing.
Will everyone get a GRIP, we are no longer an empire, we do not rule the world, mistakes happen and for fucks sake tell your grandkids about Arkle…

I cannot understand the negativity about ERADICATE-OK he won on G/F at Haydock, but he has also won twice on G/S which it may well be tomorrow. However, if it comes up very soft or heavy then there will be problems. We will see what Henderson says in tomorrow’s RP.
I am considering ditching S/LICHT-why? Thornton has opted for Walkon-am I right???

Hello,
I agree with Bosranic, Madison is far too big at 40/1 (which I availed myself with Stan James).
My only worry is if the horse has lost some of his zest-I am sure if connections actually KNEW he was going to run to form, he would almost certainly be in single figures.
Outside Kauto, there are holes in all the competitors form (on reflection, Kauto could fall but probably not at Kempton). It is recorded Madison could easily take this if coming close to his previous accomplishments.

Hello,
If good to soft, BLUE ANGEL has excellent place chances, 50/1 is just too big…

Hello,
I can see why she has got a PR job

It is pity that a lady with the looks of Margaret Rutherford fails to progress in this trade sector…

Mind you the bizarre, next to useless recommendations of Racing for Change may suggest Margeret Beckett as the PR stooge for the BHB..

Hello,
I agree with you Fist-CHEVETON has never won at 6f, but if you look at his last race he was blocked in and came flying at the end. I "think" 6f is well within his range and 16/1 is a fair price that will contract over the day.
Another who has been running well is HAAJES, again 33/1 is acceptable and could get in the mix with a bit of luck…

Hello,
Having graced, or rather abused, race courses across the World, I can safely say Racing for Change isn’t working.
The admission prices to ALL UK racecouses are daylight robbery.
The only light in the tunnel of the empire of Money is lowly Towester, it’s level of success has been ignored by the "authorities"
For hundreds of years the Racing industry has been run by rich amateurs that, abhorently, want to get richer..
I am getting older and hopefully I will pass over about the same period racing will join bull baiting and chariot racing, approximately 30 years from now ( I will be shot in my bed by my lover’s husband)
The personnel that runs racing are getting more incompetent by the year. I didn’t think this possible until I visited Royal Ascot a couple of times and witnessed the young drunken rich whose behaviour was described as "boistrous", similar behaviour somewhat down the social scale, say in Gateshead, would be labelled "violent"
Meanwhile the "authorities" oversee this "posh orgy" and continue to build what I believe is a folly that is now called Ascot Racecourse???Sorry, for my Class War diatribe, back to the point, high prices will be charged until the sport dies.
Melbourne Cup is about £6.00(approximately)
The Arc, £6.00, for Saturday, about £8.00 both days.
USA, they race everyday in California for a period of time, just about free!!! In fact they GIVE you things when you go in!Haydock charges £11.00 to stand at the 2 furlong mark.
Chester charges £17 to see absolutely nothing, and that nothing is usually a dreadful class.Cheltenham charging £60 a day isn’t funny.
I have money, and I have money to spend on my leisure pursuits, but I ain’t a f***** idiot, and I now avoid the expensive pastime of attending racetracks.

Hello,
Just reviewed the Bath meeting…it is absolutely dire..

A beautiful Sunday, mid summer, and probably up to a quarter of a million people who may have considered an afternoon’s racing are denied. After the cancellations/postponements during the winter you would think the Racing authorities would target days like today…but oh no, all eggs in one basket on Saturday….dear, dear me….

An absolute glorious (literally) opportunity lost…

Hello,
I have to say there WAS a draw bias chaps. Looking at 1000 head-on, all the high drawn horses were all over the place and at least 5 lenghths behind at the furlong point.
In 3.55, if Genki was drawn stand side he would have won by a couple of lengths..

Why the disparity, watering or whatever, has to be sorted as it would be a disaster having future Classics over a straight mile on G/Sft with such a bias.
