I hate to be devils advocate here, I have no vested interest but did watch the race and was surprised at the result.

Having looked at the photo above, I actually agree that the nose of the runner up looks flat. If you compare it with the RUK still "on the line" (deliberate inverted commas), the runner up’s nose looks different. The tip of the runner up’s nose actually appears darker than the rest of his nose on the RUK still and I’m wondering did this cause it to be obscured on the photo?

Have a look at the replay and stills for yourselves.

I’m presuming from what has been said before that the judges had access to a much better quality still than the above.

An odd one, in my view.

Agggh! I pay £20 a month for the privelage of using the full racing post site, but the geniuses who run the show see fit to show this stupid ad every time I want to watch a video. You know the one… "For an easier way to get an edge, Racing Post…" with a crappy banjo-like jingle in the background. It wastes download allowance, wastes my time, and pisses me off. I’ve already bought the product so why remind me that I need it, time after time? It has annoyed me so much at this stage that I feel compelled to ask does anyone else feel the same way? I could live with it if I was given the option of lowering the volume each time it comes on, but I’m not, I have to keep a volume control window on my desktop open to adjust every single time I watch a video. Racing Post people, can you please sort this the **** out???

Bullet Train form working out "rather well". Definitely think MPL should be supplemented!

Rob, if you could recommend or PM a proxy site that would be great.

I don’t think Betfair are licensed to show live racing streams in Oz, I might be wrong?

I sure hope I get this sorted by Cheltenham!!

Thanks for these replys. Am currently looking into finding a UK proxy site to do this. I wasn’t aware I could get ATR behind the red button in Oz, how do I do this? I have access to Foxtel digital at the minute.

I think people in this industry are afraid of the notion that it is possible for genuine tipsters to make consistent profits. An awful lot of unresearched codswallop talked on this thread already.

Hugh Taylor is one of the few consistently profitable tipsters, and it’s possible to get his prices or close to them if you’re half arsed.

There’s no easy money in sports betting, you need to work for it. You can’t expect a free tipster working for one of the two major racing channels to give tips to the masses every morning, make profits, and for them not to shorten dramatically in price as it becomes apparent the guy is good.

Hugh has made consistent profits all year, his analysis is often excellent. He’s one of the few people whose opinions I respect when it comes to race reading as a result. Nice guy too. Couldn’t do his job much better, am not afraid to praise a job very well done.

People can be so up their ar**s when it comes to aftertiming. Big deal, the lad’s just sharing his experience. Probably enough to put him off now.

Garstang has won since switched to John Balding, David, and Tous Les Deux since switching to Gary Moore.

Maybe. Wonder if anyone else can shed some light on Imago Mundi?

Back rank outsiders in novice hurdles and chases in fields with between six and eleven runners, at Betfair S.P.

Seems he has a 9yo in training, Imago Mundi, which hasn’t raced since 2005, according to the site. Anyone got any idea why it remains in training?

I still think it is appalling, ten days on. Just realised I have to open the site twice now to watch RUK because it doesn’t pop up anymore. Ridiculous. A million other niggly problems to inane to mention.

Persevere with this one I’d say. I tend to spot one or two a week and will post them here next time.

Fuming here, can’t watch the RUK live stream, which I’m paying for. Absolutely ridiculous. Stupid links to WillHill and Mick Fitz bleedin’ book clogging up the screen too. This is a sham and I’m getting angrier by the minute.

I’m all for change, improvements, and keeping an open mind. But the old site’s great, the new one is shite.
