I agree i think un de sceaux is a total class act and if anything gets anywhere near him he seems to just keep pouring it on…I think the arkle will be run at a furious pace if josses hill is there 2 out i expect him to be flying up the hill…I’m just hoping un de sceaux can burn them off from the front.Josses hill im scared off as gets further then 2 miles and could be simlar story as when captain chris won the arkle and flew home. There my 2 out off all the novice chasers i’ve seen to press. But i’m sticking with un de sceaux and a saver on josses hill.

What was peoples thoughts on josses hill’s arkle trial today?.I thought jumped sketchy stayed on well as he always does!…i can see JH staying on well in the arkle and getting placed but think he could get too far behind!.

My idea off a horse who will run a massive race in this is a horse trained by nigel twisten davies called Bristol de mai…On his first start in britain he was very impressive in the finale at chepstow winning a grade one by 6 lengths jumped well and travelled all over sum good horses. Can only improve from that reminds me off a previous winner zarkander.I’m a bit worried about the better ground. But think this will be a serious player come triumph day…and 10/1 i got i think is pritty fair.

Un de sceaux just strikes me a horse who does everything very easily.Remember willie mullins was considering having a crack at the champ hurdle with him,so he must be held in sum regard!

I just feel that the 2 miles novice chasers arent up to much this year to press.the irish saint and three kingdon form i don’t really rate.Josses hill struggled first time out over timber.

I just feel un de sceaux will be able to boss these as a novice hurdler he just gallops relentless i think he could gallop the oposistion into the ground. We will see come tuesday but it’s one off my biggest wins at the festival to press i’m very happy with him atm and looking forward to his prep run on the 25th.

I honestly believe we have 2 very talented hurdler’s in the new one and fagheen What’s intresting for me is how the race will be ridden,I can see Ruby going from the front and winding it up as we know faugheen has stamina to burn(as he did wen he rode faugheen for his first grade one over 2 miles)!.The problem been could that set up the race for the new ones finishing kick?.We all know the new one will be ridden for a turn off foot off the pace

This is a very intresting race and not as one sided as people think we have to remember the new one loves cheltenham and was a very unlucky
last year.I love Faugheen i think hes a amazing horse i can just see the race in my head ruby riding faugheen from the front seeing them all off and the new one getting him after the last!…Whatever happens it will be a tremendous race and i cant wait!.

In the arkle they is one horse for me Un De Sceaux.. The horse travels like a dream,i can see ruby riding him from the front. in un de sceaux hurdle and chase runs it dosen’t come off the bridle this been a major plus at the festival. His jumping has been a bit sketchy that’s a worry,He made a mistake at the first last time out!.I guess with ruby ridding him from the front at least he will be out off danger!

I guess the value has gone with vautour been so dissapointing and maybe that was the time to back un de sceaux!.But with the 2 mile novice chasers been not off a great quality i can see un de sceaux going to the front come arkle day and just keep pouring it on…The only worry is the jumping. But this looks a very solid 5-2 shot imo.

I was quite impressed with Rock on Ruby’s jumping last time, against mr mole, except for the last where he more overjumped then anything and pecked on landing!

You can only beat whats put in front off you and he spat them out winning by 15 lengths!.I just feel his a young improving horse.I didnt like it wen he ran in a very competitive flat handica.p but hes improved from run to run looked a massive danger to the fly last time.Just hoping he can carry on improving!

I know big bucks is a amazing horse and is the best staying hurdler off all time. But to say hes the one to beat dosen’t make sense to me.Hes a 11 year old and i was bitterly dissapointed with his come back run.Big bucks has always reminded me off a horse that finds a way to win no matter what!.He couldn’t on his reapperance yes i know he hadnt run for 420 days but this will be his second run back in a fiercely competitve world hurdle hes just not for me i just dont believe he is the same orse we will find out on the 13th!
