Just what I heard mate…Yorkhill 5/1 everywhere Min is 5/2 with hills 2/1 skybet…If ruby decides to ride Yorkhill wonder what price he would set off and what price Min would be…Yorkhill 2/1 and Min 4/1 Imo..Ruby will know best he’s rode both horses.
Just heard a rumour that ruby could ride yorkhill in the supreme instead off Min!
I just feel the horse has a powerful action and will be staying on strongly up the hill..I don’t think the horse is slow either, the better ground will be a worry but maybe he can improve for it?,I feel Mr. Wylie will run Bellshill in the Neptune..whatever race he goes for he will be carrying my money..The only worry I have is his jumping but in the Torworth he was a lot more professional and the form is working out really well from that race…And he was travelling all over some good horses from 2 out
Think Identity thief is a tremendous each way bet in this…Was impressive to get back up in the fighting fith and beat top notch considering the mistake he made at the last…I Just feel the horse is improving from race to race and as it gains experiance..Also will relish the hill Imo and can see him staying on very strongly from the last..No doubting Mr.De Bromhead will have him spot on and has been trained with the race in mind and he is my idea off a poor champion hurdle winner this time.
At the beginning off the season I thought so much off peace and Co but seems a diffrent animal this season..hasn’t trained on maybe is the case very dissapointing as I felt he could give Faugheen a race..Maybe the fast pace off a champion hurdle and the better ground will help so a few quid each way on him as I feel he may just improve but you will know your fate pretty early with peace and Co.
The one horse I feel has been overlooked for this race is Yorkhill..The way this horse travels and finishes off his races is very impressive.I feel Yorkhill will line up here as I feel Bellshill will run in the Neptune..In the Torworth he travelled up motionless under ruby and after a few cracks with the whip stretched away…I feel this lad could be a superstar his jumping has been a bit sketchy but has improved as he gains experiance…if yorkhill lines up for this I think will have a massive chance..I can see min been rode by ruby from the front paul townend riding a waiting race and picking up the pieces late on…Surely his cruising speed will be a massive asset in a supreme…at 8/1 I’m very confident and if he lines up in the Neptune I’ll back him in that just feel the horse could be a superstar who has gone under the radar because off Min.
After a fair bit off study i’ve decided to pin my colours to the John ferguson trained horse qewy
I feel qewy is unexposed will love the quicker ground was a group performer on the flat.Quickened away from a good horse from the henderson yard which has bolted in since.
I just feel this horse might represent a bit off value with the mullins and henderson horse taking up a big piece off the market imo.
Just watching the clarence house again and i’ve come to the conclusion the winner off this years champion chase is sprinter sacre.
I just feel SS lacked a bit off match practice on the day was a bit rusty and lost nothing in defeat to a very good horse in dodging bullets.I’ll explain why i think sprinter sacre will win the champion chase.
Firstly SS i feel travelled with all his usual zest i felt his jumping was pritty good on the whole i know he got in close to a few fences but if you watch the race back wen barry gives him a little squeeze into his fences he produced 2 excellent leaps.
I feel it was just the lack off racing that cost SS the race nothing else coming round the bend and going to 2 out he has dodging bullets cooked he just blows up a little between the last and the run in.But i believe 20% improvement will be enough. This run will off made SS stronger and therefore stronger in the finish.I believe this is all SS lacked his jumping his travelling was all there just wasn’t match fit.I honestly believe we could see SS back to his best come cheltenham.
I normally have a strong view on the supreme but not so much this year i’m struggling.Lami serge travels well but watching a few re-runs off his races,Does he really jump well enough?,does he have a change off pace it looks like the horse plods rather then quickens.
Jollyallan i liked but i just feel does he really have them battling qualities to win a supreme?.
I just feel this years supreme isn’t a top class race. That brings me to douvan.Watching him win the moscow flyer novice hurdle he seemed to have a serious engine and put to bed the race very easily.Jumping quick and fast.Might it just be the case that he could win this easily as i believe its a supreme with not much depth?.
I was just wondering why some people think TNO is flat footed and dosen’t have a change off pace?.Off a good gallop and on a steap finish i believe it’s TNO greatest asset.
Lets look at sum facts to back this up in the international this season if you watch the race back TNO sprints up the hill.In the champion hurdle last year he was sprinting up the hill jumping the last. Was intresting what Ruby said today on racing Uk losing that much ground makes things very difficult.
They was speaking about riding TNO from the front in the champion hurdle on RUK that would be a disaster for me and play into faugheens hands.TNO should be ridden for a turn off foot and to pick faugheen off up the hill that’s the only way i feel TNO wins. But if he is with in 2 lengths jumping the last i advice all you faugheen fans it will be a long way home up that cheltenham hill

I totally agree about the race cutting up.I think maybe like the time simonsig won the arkle.
I’m on UDS at nice prices but when i learned vautour was going for the JLT i kept firing into UDS at 5-2…I agree UDS biggest threat will be his jumping but nothing seems to get him off the bridle if something comes near him he just goes quicker.I haven’t seen the race today as i’ve been working will watch in a bit.I will be having a few beers on holiday next week courtesy off UDS and mr william hill

Tremendous off un de sceaux today!.I’ve won my holiday money for next week off him today
…TAPK you did your money on gigamboa and if i remember rightly that’s the horse that blunderd his chance away in a supreme.Get on that machine and get laying UDS for the arkle
.. hes my biggest banker off the festivel.Nothing can get this fella off the bridle!Just doing a bit off study on the supreme and i don’t like lami serge or douvan i’ll explain why.
Lami serge when beating jollys cracked it jumped poor and when he jumped the last he plodded on instead off quickening i just think he is way too short and will have to jump a lot better to win a supreme
As for douvan i think 5-2 is a crazy price the horse has won a poor race and they didn’t seem to go very fast not many runner’s etc…A supreme novice is a totally diffrent experaince lots off runners and go flat out to the first and at the price he is not for me
i haven’t really got a fancy for the race i fancy alvisio ville to run a big race i think macoy will ride. But only won a maiden hurdle. But was impressive. But not really confident. The supreme has brought up sum surprises in the past!.
Just looking at this race i think annie power is a banker for this.Always run well in mares events was really impressive after her second in the world hurdle.Willie loves to win this race and with the brilliant quvega not there i think annie power will do him proud.
What’s the plans regarding annie?.,i read she is sound and well straight to the festival or is willie going to get a prep run in her?.
I’ve got a day off work so thought i would do sum chrltenham study.
Watching the christmas hurdle where faugheen was very impressive i think i may have spotted a little chink in his armour.Even though he won well enough i felt faugheen lost a bit off ground at each flight, because he dosen’t jump his hurdles fast and accurate all the time sometimes he spends a little time in the air costing him a bit off ground. He has a massive engine so it hasn’t been a problem so far as he has won easily enough,But a race like the champion hurdle and a 5-4 shot i want to be really confident i just feel in march he could lose some ground at his hurdles.
Now i know people thought the new one wasn’t impressive on satuarday i agree. But i’ve just watched the international and boy was he impressive.I know he didn’t jump well on satuarday but in the international he was low and fast at every hurdle (got a bit tight towards the last)..And then powered away from the last.
I’ve no doubt faugheen is a top class horse. But i think the new one will jump better with a quick pace come march and i think his sharp turn off foot jumping the last could be the major factor.
All i mean is i really fancy TNO for the champ hurdle. With him not been that impressive today i feel more people will lump on faugheen.Come race day i feel faugheen will set off evs, odd’s on and TNO will start between 7-2,4-1 and if some 4-1 becomes available i will have to top up again…todays race will have put TNO spot on for march 10th.
I agree it’s so difficult for these horses to come back even the greatest off them all struggled Big bucks.Sprinter sacre reminds me off the same thing i understand sprinter sacre is younger then big bucks but big bucks come back run a promising race like sprinter sacre did there and then was dissapointing at the festival i feel the same fate could await sprinter sacre
I agree Dodging bullets must have a great chance but what’s it beaten there if sprinter sacre isn’t the same horse?.Somersby who always runs well but very rare he wins.
The horse i’m looking forward to seeing again is the reigning champ Sire de Grugy he hasn’t had as long a layoff as sprinter and could be a big test for dodging bullets…I agree a rushed
prep before the festival is never a great thing. But i hope gary moore gets a run into him and i feel its between dodging bullets and sire de grugy for the champ chase.I think here people are focusing on the negatives instead off the postives.Lets remember TNO hated the ground didn’t jump well i agree he needs to jump a lot better at the festival…But let’s remember TNO did well to win a race that he looked very unlikely in winning (don’t know ehat he traded in running).Showing a nice turn off pace to win the race.I understand it wasn’t visually impressive
but his turn off food at the end off the race was still there!.That’s the TNO weapon against faugheen if he is within 2 lengths jumping the last i can see him mowing faugheen down.I just feel TNO did well to win today. All roads lead to cheltenham now and with him not been that impressive i can see sum 4-1 TNO been available soon.
