Avika is a class horse but just my opinion do you think could be a bit ‘soft’..I can see 3 or 4 jumping the last with a chance, and if benefficient is there jumping the last and there all off the bridle what this fella knows is how to win..eg the jewson and the 2 miler in ireland last time.
Maybe so i just feel benefficent is a improving horse over 2 mules over fences.Where surely sizing europe is on the decline (great horse).Lets say benefficent was trained by w.mullins what price do you think he will be?.people forget benefficient has win two grade ones and a grade two over fences as a 8yo he could still be improving?.Just hope he takes his chances in the champ chase!
I watched faugheen race last time no doubt he has a engine. Was just worried about his jumping like you say i think a quicker pace may help.Where he dosent have as much time to think about it.It looks a good race.Red sherlock beat a mullins hotpot last time so surely mullins has got a idea about the second favourite?.
Yeah 6-1 isn’t much off a price think he will drift anyway. If he lines up for this imo hes the most likely winner.Surely with SS ciming out might tempt matin to have a crack at this?.Especially with benefficent winning a grade one over 2 miles and having a lot off the irish field behind him last time!
Why should sizing europe turn form around with benefficent?.Bailey green can only place at best. When i back each way i like to think the horse has a decent chance off winning as well..Think that is the case with benefficent.the problem is martin might run him in the ryanair i hope not.I agree sire is way too short!
I cant get a handle on the neptune this year.So im hoping you guys can help me out.Whats your thoughts on faugheen and red sherlock.Thought willie mullins horse didnt jump great last time
I understand irving looked more impressive. But he makes mistakes and pulls…Maybe saying irving is a bridle horse isnt fair. But to label Vautours victory over TTT an easy lead off a slow pace isnt fair either imo.He jumoed fast and accurate and jumping the last the TTT had chance to get to vautour but he wouldnt let him past his quarters..What about vautours grade 2 win beating western boy?,he might even gone a nose down at one point but still found the battling qualities to win 3/4 lengths..As we all know them qualities are very valuable in a supreme winner!!
I was thinking walsh could even make the running as he did last time?.As probably that was his most impressive performance to date.Either way think he will be ridden handy at least.Give me a battler anyday over a bridle horse. We dont know what irving will find once push comes to shove im hoping not much!
Couldn’t agree with you more.Vautour looks a machine i loved how he jumped last time fast and quick(touch wood).I love the guts he showed wen beating western boy.Im really confident he will deliver the goods. You need class to win a supreme no doubt but battling qualities is very important too..Im having a decent bet on Vautour to start my festival off.I hope they all back irving and vautours price gets bigger..Hopefully paddy power will do a offer if irving wins money back make it a very tasty bet then!..How do you think he will be ridden?.
My idea off the winner off the arkle is Trifolium, jumped like a stag last time and powered clear winning a good race in ireland…He has improved from race to race.Should be spot on come the festival and has course form in the book 3rd behind in a supreme novices when behind cinders and ashers and darlan.
My idea off a each way bet to nothing is tony martins beneficent.A grade one winner over hurdles and fences he was upped to 3 miles where he didn’t stay earlier in the season. Then was dropped back to 2 miles where he won his grade one he seemed to love the step back in trip…Surely if he is there jumping the last he has a massive chance off winning as winning a grade one over 2miles 4furlongs at last years festival!.
Iv’e seem many cheltenham bridle horses and not as many win as you would think…Surely if he pulls like he does irving will have trouble getting up the hill?.
I think beneficent has a excellent chance in this thoughts please?.
No doubt valdez has a good attitude.Did well to win hos last race!.Aren’t you a bit concerned about his jumping?.If he jumps how he did last time surely that could be his undoing in a arkle?.
My take on the supreme novices 2014 is as follows. My idea off the winner is vautour a improving horse who jumps his hurdles slick (except for the odd mistake)…He won a grade one against the tullow tank the other week where as jumping the last it looked like he might come to vautour but he found more and wouldn’t let him get a blow in.I was really impressed wen he won his grade 2 beating western boy by 3/4 length, the thing i was impressed with jumping the last looked like western boy would get him but vautour found more (guts and determination needed to win a supreme for the climb up the hill). So this is my idea off the winner thoughts?.
