See in Daily Mail he ran up big mobile bills — they must have been pretty amazing to be declared bankrupt. As I said, he liked his mobile.

But I think he owed more than just council tax and mobile bills.

I’d heard he owed money to several people.
He was always on his mobile. Remember seeing him in a bookies Cheltenham, talking tosh on the phone — made me wonder if he was just talking to himself to make himself look important.

    The Foxhunters.
Otherwise, there’s nothing not to look forward to.

Zoso. I can’t believe 16 will turn out for the Arkle. (look at previous runnings)

If Tidal Bay can iron out the errors, he will be placed. Noland still looks the one to beat.

I was very impressed by Folkestone. Let’s hope he stay sounds. If he turns up at Cheltenham, he wins.

What’s amazing is how slow the Betfred site is to the news. 10-1 on Noland for Arkle is still available. And the firm’s Sun Alliance market is still unchanged.

I cannot believe anyone can even be thinking about flat racing at this time of the year. Flat racing is for the most part a total bore.

As someone who lives near the station, I must advise you all to avoid the Midland pub by the station. It’s crap. Go to the Kings Arms about four hundred yards down Gloucester Road towards town. Classic local boozer.

Yes, the fish and chip shop is top class. The Chinese next door is good. All the locals use it. It’s always busy.

absolutely brilliant performance. But I wouldn’t take 6-4 for gold cup. I will wait until close before the race before to see if he lines up.

I agree it wasn’t his best weekend. He missed both Abragante and Macs Joy being pulled up. I can excuse him for making mistakes in the cross country — after all in most races someone takes the wrong course.

Hoiles is now the best in the game. lee mckenzie is also very good and very accurate.

The BBC doesn’t make any profits from phone in votes. Proceeds always go to charity, such as Children in Need.

Ceefax racing is a low priority at this time. News which is seen as a priority is having to cut hundreds of jobs. The racing pages would always be under threat in such an environment,

The best she’s had was Senior ElBetrutti who won what’s now Paddy Power and the December race (name always keeps changing) at Cheltenham in 1997.

I am not getting carried away, but, if he turns up, he will win Gold Cup.

LLT trouble could have galloped both into the ground based on his peformance against Nick Dundee. It was a shame he was never the same when up against BM.

Katchit too short. But still the best jumper in the field.

Denman is very, very good. Can see him winning, despite the weight. I’ d heard the workout the other was very good. (better than public quotes from the stable).
