Congratulations to the estimable Mrs Nock who at last looks to have a half-decent chasing prospect on her hands again in the shape of the huge and rather awkward Molostiep who won at Towcester today.
A small-time trainer who’s horses are invariably healthy and immaculately turned out.
December 1, 2007 at 21:57 #128305Yes, has she had any good ones since ‘Mr. Beetroot’?
December 1, 2007 at 22:03 #128311she had the wonderfully named Tom Costalot who she got from Tom Costello….
December 2, 2007 at 09:05 #128361She also has Dictum, who is capable of winning a very decent race if you could guarantee hock-deep mud.
December 2, 2007 at 09:21 #128365Oh dear, forgot about Dictum. Yes a promising chaser
December 3, 2007 at 12:39 #128552The best she’s had was Senior ElBetrutti who won what’s now Paddy Power and the December race (name always keeps changing) at Cheltenham in 1997.
December 3, 2007 at 19:42 #128633I was quite pleased as I backed and napped Molostiep. Despite the successes of Senor the best horse they actually owned was Parsons Thorns who they unfortunately lost after he suffered an injury in the Sun Alliance Chase. Potentially a Gold Cup horse, he only raced about nine times but was successful five times and was the most gorgeous horse you could wish to see – the last thing he won was the best turned out prize for that Sun Alliance.

So you were the sod who nicked all the 10.0 and left three-figure orders at all rates down, early on Saturday

Cut early on all the books too so actually suspect a tipping line put it up
Or perhaps Camilla and Rosie have now got their Christmas bonus
Job done Sue
