well done promising run backers special tiara never travelled, Natural Scenery is now becoming very frustrating.

Well done Gold Town backers, I am sure someone posted they got 5/4, was never in doubt. Good luck with with Tangled Jac

    Promising Run sauntered home.

Just what I didn’t want to see was Rehana going to the front. She needs 7F and delivering from off the pace in my opinion. Promising Run was always going to be the stronger finisher of the two. Rehana weakened today, just as she had over shorter last time. Maybe the trainer will eventually get the message.

    Opal Tiara was disappointing today.

Easy money there Jac, I thought it might have been closer than that between our selections but Promising Run was very tidy there and had Rehana covered from a fair way out.

Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.

Oh that was a bit of a washout for Tangle d.. Didn’t see it so no idea what happened.

Had a good day with Promising Run winning and a little win on the first race so going for an each way combi double in the last two Races just for small stakes and a rev forecast. :good:

    Taneen 6.00 (each way)
Linguistic and Mailshot 6.35 (Reverse Forecast)

What a price Dutch Masterpiece was.

Enjoying this get together of all us flat enthusiasts and will be back next Thursday ‘N’ & Co. :rose:

Having not seen any of the races I haven’t a note book horse as such but would just say keep an eye out for Dubai One when she does run, hopefully next Thursday, they obviously have something lined up for her…:good: :bye: Jac

Safe to assume that my original plan of Gold Town beating Tangled would have come to pass.

Tangled was awful and needs to be treated with caution moving forward. That was miles from his form of last season.

The winner was last seen winning at Catterick and his official rating was 70 to Tangle’s 106, more than two and a half stone inferior.

I think Hannon got the “Flower Of Scotland” line from Godolphin today, i.e “And sent him homewards, tae think again.

No joy at Meydan today and a couple of shockingly poor runs.

Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.

Spot on Steve C. Pat Smullen quoted as saying “I wish she would have settled for me better, but there was no pace, so we knew (she would be forwardly placed). The long and short of it is that I think we learned today that she’s a 7-furlong filly.”

attheraces.com ,click obviously replays then go to international tab and just go to yesterdays date, meydan will show up

If not emiratesracing.com see the meydan full results tab, go to the race you want to watch and there will be two pictures of the sprint, click your cursor just slightly to the left of picture and race replay will come on (sorry bit long winded)

Just a tip for future reference.

At The Races didn’t show Gold Town’s race live because it clashed with other races. It was shown quite a bit later as a recording.

I was able to watch it Live on Ze Turf though.

You can register on Ze Turf to watch live French races and some others. No deposit is required and I have never put money into my account, nor had a bet, but can still watch the live streams in high quality, free of charge.

It doesn’t get better than that for me anyway, it’s way better than hooky streams five minutes behind real time and freezing inside the final furlong. Grrr!!

Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.

Did I see that correctly? The last race is a group 1?

So that’s two group 2s and a group 1 on Thursday?
