To say my BMW plans haven’t exactly gone to plans, is a bit of an understatement
In fact, dead and buried before the cut. I was particularly disappointed with Paisley, 4 under
for his 1st round (one stroke out of the 1st round leader place money) and then he goes and
    self-combusts with a 5 over par 77.

It looks like McIlroy should take this, but odds-on isn’t my kind of bet, so I’ve rowed in with
Raymo and had a few quid on Tommy Fleetwood at 12/1 with Bet365. He’s just dropped a shot at the 3rd
which puts him 5 behind McIlroy, so he needs to get his skates on. Hopefully he can get into a
position to put him in contention tomorrow. I’ve got him on the nose.

Bets on golf this week start at Memorial open

    CHARL SCHWARTZEL 55/1

He my main bet here this week he has form here but also at Firestone which has a link to this layout this week and over recent weeks has been playing well i get the feeling a win is coming soon for him might be this week.

    JUSTIN THOMAS 14/1

Of the big names at top of the betting for me the new no1 is the one to be on.Was 4th here last year and has gotten to grips with course. Also designer of this course is same as Honda classic which he won this year.

    ADAM SCOTT 50/1

Talking of the Firestone link not many play that layout better than this guy and like Schwartzel been in tidy form over the last month.Did though dissapoint last week but good to ignore here

    BYEONG HUN AN 80/1

This talent from Korea will be suited to a tree lined track like here was 11th here 2 years ago and was 25th last year. and another year on feel can go well here

    ABRAHAM ANCER 300/1

A massive price but a player kept eye on last month or so was 8th at Houston open which best showing by him this year. And think can take a shine to this course

    Bets for italian open

    ALEX NOREN 10/1

While record in Italy not great i give him one more chance he a proven winner on this tour and got high class form on higher grade in PGA Tour this season lost a playoff to Jason Day.And did well at weekend at Wentworth

    IAN POULTER 20/1

Last week was best performance in ages at Wentworth and a short layout here be fine for him and so far had good year with a win at Houston. And for me be biggest danger to Noren

    DYLAN FRITTELI 66/1

A tight short track is ideal for him a MC last year but now at a different course can go well here even though last few weeks has had a pair of MC in last 2weeks.But can get back in form

    JORDAN SMITH 125/1

Was 3rd in China open and after a slow start has now starting to find form again and think this talented young player from England can find form again and go well.

BigG and Raymo you guys having a bet this week if yes good luck

    Italian Open

Tyrrell Hatton 33/1 8 places Sky (45/1 1st round leader market)

Tyrrell has had a couple of not very memorable weeks, the good thing is that his odds
are probably higher for this than they have been all year. Take away those last 2
tournament, (missed cut in the BMW PGA and T44 at the Masters) and you have 3 tournaments
prior to that where he finished 3, T3 and T9. This is a happy hunting ground for Hatton,
who is the defending champion, and has the game to come good here.

Lucas Bjerregaard 40/1 8 places Sky (50/1 1st round leader market)

It looked like he had turned a corner when he won the Portugal Masters last year with
4 brilliant rounds for a 20 under score, but for whatever reason he simply hasn’t
looked the same player since. He started off this season in the same vein with 5
missed cuts in 7 tournaments, and then it’s like something has clicked back into
place. I don’t know why, but I don’t really care as 6th, 5th and particularly his
T3 at the BMW PGA in his last 3 outings signal a player that has bounced right
back to form. His last round 65 last week screamed of a player waiting to burst
through and I think this could be the week. I think he’s a stonking good bet.

That will do for me for the Italian Open, I’ll get round to posting my bets for
    the Memorial in the morning.

    Memorial

I’ve made a pig’s ear of it, I intended to get my bets done this morning, but I
was out from first thing. It’s well under way, I was going to wait till the end
of play or half way, but I see that Bryson DeChambeau is 2 under
for his round after 5 holes. He was one I would have bet and although the 50s has
well and truly gone, I took the best that was left which is 28/1 with Bet365. I’ve
also taken the 20/1 1st round leader which Boylesports are offering. The leader at
this point is Hossler at 5 under. At least I’m in the game, but I’m annoyed with
myself that I didn’t get this sorted last night

As i said on twitter to Nath i think my old pal BigG will give me clog for not putting up Ancer as 1st round leader bet ;-) i read could of got 400/1 for him to do it in the end was a 3 way tie with Matsuyama and Niemann i have to settle for 300/1 winner instead well that is the hope.

Exactly my thoughts Darren, that would have been a cracking 1st round bet on
Ancer. I hope he keeps it up mate, 300/1 would be the best bet any of us have
had so far this year. I wish you luck :good:

See De Chambeau in lead mate for you look like my best hope be B AN at 80/1 and start round 4 early today because of weather.

J Smith and Poulter best chances in Italy unless Noren and Fritteli can hit big rounds today

Good luck with Smith and Poulter, they aren’t too far back and in with a real shout. Molinari
is the favourite, and probably should be, but I think the bookies are dismissing Slattery too
easily. He wouldn’t need to repeat his round of 62 to win so the 7/1 is quite a decent price
for him going into the final round as leader. I’ve had a nibble at that as my 2 are dead and
    buried.

I hope DeChambeau can hold on tonight, I was kicking myself for missing the start and his
50/1 odds, but as I said before I took him at 28/1 when he was 2 up after 5 holes in the
1st round. He then went and bogied the next hole and went out to 33s with Betvictor, so I
took that too to make up for missing the 50/1. I’ll be well in if he can hold on. Your man
Byeong Hun An is only 2 back, he’s not out of it by a long shot. 80/1 looks huge as he’s
best priced 10/1. Obviously I hope my man holds on, but if he falls by the wayside I’ll
shout your man on if he’s up there.

I see Raymo has Cabrera Bello, who’s only 2 off the lead in the Italian. Good luck with
him Raymo, it would be great if we could all come out of this week with some cash coming
    back. Here’s hoping guys :good:

Both tournaments have an interesting last round look to them!!

Hope we can all have a cop!!

Rafa needs to have a good round to win in Italy for me and either Moore or Scott needs a wonder round to win for me in the US

But we all have some sort of chance I hope!!
    Good Luck Guys :good: :good:

They are on the play-off hole and DeChambeau is the only one on the fairway. He had a
putt to win outright at the 18th and cash out was £290 for £20 at 28/1. I didn’t take it
and regretted it, but now he’s on the fairway and he’s fav so again I’m offered £295.
Because I have £20 at 33/1 with BV I’ve taken the £295, as I’ve still got the BV bet
running. At least I’m getting something, I hope he can hold on this time

Well he did hold on, and whilst I’m really pleased, I’m also gutted for you
Darren. Your guy An, after a bad start played a great round. I thought maybe
DeChambeau had blown it after he missed that 8 footer on the 72nd, and although
he made hard work of it (he had every chance to win the 1st play off hole too)
he finally got over the line. After taking the cash-out on the Bet365 part of
my bet I would have been happy enough to settle for that if your man had won at
80/1. Well done anyway, he was a cracking e/w shout.

I hope you got a bit of a e/w return with Cabrera Bello Raymo, it’s good that we
all got some cash back again. Go the TRF golf team :yahoo:

No bets at shot clock event but bets for St jude classic instead

    BROOKS KOEPKA 11/1

Have to say suprise see price as big as 11/1 been 3rd and 2nd here last 3 years.Come back from wrist injury and play well at Sawgrass a closing 63.Then follow that up with 2nd behind Rose at Colinal.A course that not suited his big hitting game. And think be man to beat

    JOAQUIM NIEMANN 40/1

Over last 18 months seen many high class young players on tour from Jon Rahm to Aaron Wise and this kid looks every inch a star in making after 6 starts on tour had 3 top tens best showing last week at Memorial when 6th.Had dodgy weekend but that was to be expected but if in with chance again i doubt he chuck it away.If big names looking at next week US open this kid can win this week.

    PETER UIHELN 40/1

Took time for him to settle into life on tour but look like starting to click now was 5th at Memorial last week and Wells fargo. And though making debut at course think go well.

    AUSTIN COOK 150/1

This was 1st event made his name was 13th in 2014 and 4 years on improved so much now he a PGA Tour winner won RSM classic and while recent form not great this young talent be happy coming back here

    WESLEY BRYAN 200/1

Recent form not been great but get a feeling he can pop when you expect it from him course this week has a link with Valspar a event was 7th last year and feel like he can do ok this week

Good luck BigG and raymo this week
