Shoemark is going to have some criticism.

May 3, 2025 at 15:42 #1729240Yes great shout Glad with the opening post back in July

The more I know the less I understand.
May 3, 2025 at 15:43 #1729241My God what an absolute bollocks from Shoemark.
Slow pace and a tail wind yet he holds on as if he’s on Pegasus.
You can’t give quality horses a head start in them conditions.Someone on here was praising him recently and saying a big season is on the way.
The guy is a joke of a rider and should’ve been sacked mid last year.
May 3, 2025 at 15:44 #1729243For me race positioning said it all ….. it played a major part in the result.
Shoemark once again gets it wrong.
good luck to allMay 3, 2025 at 15:44 #1729244WD winners

May 3, 2025 at 15:46 #1729248Awhh..soo close thought Shadow Of Light had it for a moment but Buick gets it right again.
Field Of Gold given too much to do by Shoemark ..Frankie would have got him home such a shame.

Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...May 3, 2025 at 15:46 #1729249Weaver (just now) with more emphasis on the horse’s (FoG) performance, even though Ed asked him about horse and the jockey ride.
Weaver bottled it.May 3, 2025 at 15:49 #1729251Goseden has never won the 2000 Guineas either.
He should sack Shoemark on the spot now. A jockey who’s fecked up as much as him was in no position to be riding arrogantly.
May 3, 2025 at 15:49 #1729252Well done Gladders and all Ruling Court backers…
12/1 what a price.
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...May 3, 2025 at 15:50 #1729253Thanks, all. 👍
Like I posted after his Meydan win, I couldn’t believe he was still available at 11-1 then so I went in again. Quite lucky in the end as the favourite should really have won, but I’ll take it!
May 3, 2025 at 15:50 #1729254He said Field Of Gold was caught flat footed went Buick went no he wasn’t the jockey was.
The more I know the less I understand.
May 3, 2025 at 15:51 #1729256I said beforehand Nathan, there wasn’t a true front runner and they didn’t go that fast early. Shoemark was on a horse that has been free previously and had to get the horse settled – so can understand him being further back and challenging later than Buick. But the tailwind helped those in front stay there. It was the reason why I backed Ruling Court as a main bet and Field Of Gold as a saver. Maybe Shoemark would have done better challenging a bit earlier, but I can understand the ride.
