I must say the new ‘paint job’ at Racing Post online does make it feel a little strange after so many years with the customary black background !!

You seem to be on a slippery slope at present Ginge, but here’s hoping the poor run turns for you today.

Solow, a gallant winner and so totally straight forward. A great shame he was cut.

Annoying at times is that when clicking on a link within a post, it takes you off the site to that link (most forums usually open a link in a new tab or window). I know it’s easy to right click and ‘open in new tab’ but forget to far too often.

Had Dutch Connection pencilled in as the meeting banker but feel now the softened ground might well be against him.

…Betfair is only ok close to the off if you want a big bet and getting 7.4 about a 6/1 shot is less appealing when there is a 5 per cent charge ……

Betfair 5% comm on winning accounts !!! what year was that ?

Who gives a damn about admiring the wonderful Golden Horn in the pre-parade ring, I’d much rather listen to Tom Jones after the racing

You will also get that screen if you have pop up blocker on. Just for future reference if that happens to anyone.

Oh, that explains why I didn’t have the ‘sign in’ prompt display. Thank you Chivers.

Can’t get to see any videos on the Sporting Life site, just the blue screen with ‘Already registered?’ or ‘New to Sky Bet?’ prompts but with no links attached, I’m logged into Sky Bet at the time so what do I need to do ???

If you want to see it like that Tim, yes. If putting the bet on now you’d be taking a 7.7% worse price, between 40/85 and 1/2. Zarwaan best price now 11/4 and Dusky Queen 6/1, Kool Company still 11/4. Everything else drifting.

Although Zarwaan is the only main bet, so it’s really a 7/2 bet with around a 13/8 saver; instead of (if betting now) 11/4 main bet and between 6/4 and 11/8 saver.

    Or

Best way of looking at it is I’ve got 2.88/1 (less commision) with money back if either Kool Company or Dusky Queen win. Which considering Zarwaan is a best price less than that now without the money back concession if the fav or third fav wins – doesn’t seem too bad to me.

The best presently available on the others grouped (6/1 8/1 12/1 & 25/1) is between 13/8 and 7/4, so you do have a smidgen of value :-)
