For me it while Limato not certain trip suit him my selection ran well this year in better races a drop in trip no problem either for him.

With the rain we’ve had it looks like Night of Thunder will take his place in the Sussex leaving Toormore free to run here. Hannon’s form is much better at the moment in comparison to the start of Royal Ascot and he’d be a rightful favourite. I think he is worth taking on though at 7f as he needs a strong run mile these days and they were even talking about him running in the Ecipse. He was beat in this last year aswell. Limato doesnt strike me as a 7f horse either and I’d be incline to take a chance on Tupi who looks a better horse this year and has won twice with his two defeats a length behind Ducth Connection and just over a length 2nd to Home of the Brave.

Had Dutch Connection pencilled in as the meeting banker but feel now the softened ground might well be against him.
