10st 6 is a lot of weight for Sunday Symphony to carry in the 4:40 at Yarmouth but he looked an improved horse following his gelding op when he easily won at York last week. Trainer is in top form and I’ve backed this horse to win at 11/4 on BF which is good odds considering Consular is a n/r.
Cheers snowman – made a profit with the place bet so I’m happy with it:) ÂÂÂ
No doubt that Folio ( 4:00 Yarmouth ) is a bit quirky but he is a course winner and his winning jockey is riding him. The trainer is in form and there are question marks with many of the other runners so he’s worth an each way bet imo. I’ve backed him at odds of 10/1.
I think that most people have a ‘sixth sense’ and are aware of something that is going to happen in the future. I’ve had this feeling about many things which have come true. As far as racing goes, I’ve experienced it about 6 times with the best one being a winner at 20/1. The problem is that as I get older, I am experiencing this feeling less and less:( ÂÂÂ
I don’t understand why the Met is interviewing your mate when he backed the horse in question and lost his money:( I thought that Fallon was meant to be guilty of stopping horses for the benefit of certain punters…not to their detriment! ÂÂÂ
The small field and the track at Bath may have been against Spaceman last time out. If he can reproduce his course form in the 5:35 at Yarmouth then he could win:) Cumani is a top trainer but I wish he was in better form. I’ve backed him each way at 15/2. ÂÂÂ
I like the chances of Peruvian Prince in the 4:50 at Folkestone. Enjoyed the step up in trip last time and the form of the race is working out well :) . Just wish the trainer was in better form. Backed him each way at 8’s.
Bel Cantor in the 5:00 Wolv looks a weak favorite in my opinion and I’ll be laying this horse if the odds get down to 2/1 or lower ( presently 11/4 ).
Good call with Echo Of Light:biggrin: – always good when judgement turns out to be spot on. Seems you may have been right about Dahman. I backed Illustrious Blue when he drifted out in the betting to over 3/1 but still made a loss on the day at racing:( :(
I am surprised that Dahman is as big as 4’s for the 3:20 at Bath. First run of the season since finishing lame last year but the trainer is in excellent form:biggrin: and this horse is very well handicaped. I’ve bet on him e/w at 4’s.
Bolodenka in the 5:30 York looks a solid each way if he stays at his first attempt at 10f. Running against a lot of exposed types:( – this is a weaker race than the last one he ran in. I’ve got on e/w at 13/2.
I fancy the chance of Illustrious Blue in the 3:25 Good but the price of 5/2 is skinny and traffic probs can be a problem at Good’d. ÂÂÂ
I think that you’re right about Immelman and he’s an improving player worth following in the next few years. Not convinced he’ll win a major though – unless he hits top form whilst Tiger has got the flu;)

Congrats at picking that one:) – always good to get a decent priced winner – puts the bank balance up in one quick go:biggrin: Good luck.
I’ve spent the last 2 hours looking at the form and I can’t find a horse to back or lay :( Hope you win today – do you regularly folow Pricewise and make it pay – they seem to know what they are doing.
Zurbaran 1:35 York 1 pt win
Souvenance 3:15 York 1 pt win
I’ve never used the oddschecker site but W/Hill still quote their odds on the readabet one at
http://readabet.bestbetting.com/
This is the site I use every day and I find it is very good and it is kept fairly up to date.
Lollys – I don’t know where you got these from but they are very funny – I’m sat here laughing aloud by myself – the neighbours must wonder what I’m doing:o
I really like asian people and their culture so for this reason, two of my favorite recent films are —
The Quiet American – set in South Vietnam in the 50’s , it stars Michael Caine as an english journalist reporting on unrest in the country. There is a gorgeous asian actress in it called Do Thi Hai Yen who is the star of the film for me. M.Caine and an american ( yes, he’s quiet:biggrin: ) contend for her affections among the political background.
Lost in Translation – set in Tokyo and starrs Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson. I found it strange, atmospheric but enjoyable.
Hi Underscore — I’ve only just joined so welcome and good luck. Who is Delray beach being trained by? It might be interesting following his progress.
