Hi Jim , hope all is well , moan all ya like , but one thing is for certain ,putting on banded racing in Kempton sends out a cleaR MESSAGE to punters and racegoers , it says never mind the quality , just play and pay

correct on all points AP , although I am going to shut up about Kempton, I will keep saying that Racing is just too expensive to attend on a frequent basis
As for the Sugarbabes , I am sure they are great , and no doubt will attract a younger audience . is it possible some of those might return to racing havibg been impressed
Pity though , pricing is important for a fringe sport like ours , maybe one day the message will get through , when regular racegoers become very infrequnt visitors to the race track .

hey folks some quality replies here , but for goodness sake lets face the truth , Kempton is a dog track , its prime audience  are mostly six packers (lets get p**s
ed and damn the racing ), its main aim is to provide  racing for the bookies , who pay a nice sum for the dross , betting shop fodder must be catered for , so romford , crayford , monmore , kempton , are all the same , its just another betting opportunity (he he )to slowly drip away the punters dosh and keep the shareholders happy , so as long as racing maintains this policy , it will eventually drive casual race goers and the hardened loyal existing followers awayAw is awash with dross , this is just more of it

So the chickens have come home to roost , when Kempton reopened, I slagged it off for being just another crayford bags track , keep the bookies happy and damn the punters
well I got crucified for daring to suggest such a thing !!!, so now I am saying , its doomed , yeah doomed , no one is going , and nobody will go until the management  put on some decent racing
average crowds of 400/500 tell the full story , we are all fed up with dross , the programme  is 70 per cent dross , and yeah , punters are turning away in hordes , does anyone realise it , maybe , but the dross rolls on , the bookies 24/7 progrmme must be catered to , meanwhile racing goes further down the pan

I am glad to say I am on record here as saying he is the best I have seen since El Gran Senor , his speed figure on his last run was the best I have ever got for a 2 yr old

Bookies amd courses are joining together to make a commercial killing , and why not  good luck to them  but lets recognise tonights meeting for what it is  , is more fodder for betting shop punters
As for the times , its all about coinciding with shop closure times at 9 30  when the new laws come into force  you can expect a 9  race card from 7 until 11
Bags has taken a new twist , its called kempton park racing ,the winners will be RHT  and the bookies  , and possibly RUK , the losers , well you have guessed ….its the punters as usual
