I’m sorry to hear of your loss.I am new here and did not know Daylight.
I think from reading so many posts from all the long term members that he had earned a lot of respect for his contribution to this forum.
May he rest in peace.
June 4, 2006 at 10:22 #95881Desperate sad news and my hearfelt feelings go to you and the rest of his family and friends.
I have been a member here from almost the start when Craig came onto the old channel 4 site and told us of his intention to start this web site.Although I never met him I did speak to him on the phone a few years ago and it was clear how much he cared about this web site and that was the reason why this web site was such a success.he clearly loved his racing.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.

June 4, 2006 at 14:28 #95891Oh my god, what sad news. All my sympathy to Debs, Luke and all Craigs family. From bringing us TRF to all the syndicates, Craig brought so many people good times and great humour, such a lovely bloke and he will be greatly missed.

June 4, 2006 at 16:28 #95892I owe Craig a lot. If it wasn’t for me joining the TRF syndicate that he spent so much time, money and love on I would never have met Sal, and after that first syndicate meeting in a hotel in Folkestone (I dug out the photos from that memorably boozy night today and was laughing through the tears) we are still together three and a half years later along with our son Daniel. On the numerous days out, whether it was at a stable visit or at the racecourse, win or lose Craig was always excellent company. We had to leave the syndicate at the end of last year but kept in touch through the TRF poker games, something else that Craig worked long and hard to organise and through which I’ve managed to meet some more great people.
Craig was a brilliant syndicate manager, a pretty decent poker player (of course we never told him at the time!) and a dear, dear friend, but most of all the best husband and father that Debs or Luke could ever have wished for.
I’ll miss you mate.
June 4, 2006 at 16:54 #95894My deepest condolences, sad, sad news.
