After strongly fancying Vintage Clouds for the national I have had go in again at the 12/1 available. (from 16/1 ) Willtop up if making final decs
Hi VTC you certainly don’t waste any time . Hope you enjoyed Tiger s performance as much as I did and that you had some multiples come up with him. I remember asking your opinion during the pricewise challenge the other year and you reccomended Tiger so thanks for that the rest as they say is history !
O Leary ruling out a third national , Elliot not so sure. We shall see. Can understand it would be asking a lot under top weight. Will need to get tickets early if cross country 2020 is to be his last race!
At last some sanity on this issue . So many of you seem to want a return to the good old days! Well I m old enough to remember nationals back to 1963 and yes it was a right old spectacle alright…….. drops on the landing side so steep inevitably shattered many a horse’s leg…….. ditches so deep horses had to be hailed out of them , badly injured or worse……. fences so stiff the slightest touch meant horse and jockey doing somersault resulting in death or wheelchair confinement for life .
I , for one , thoroughly enjoyed yesterday’s race , it was fantastic but for the one sad fatality.
Tiger is the most natural horse over the national fences since Red Rum , inevitably bring so tiny he brushes some.
Now if he could come back and do it again next year…. !The Tiger just magnificent. Feel for connections of Up for Review . Is Vintage Clouds ok ?
Have added Pleasant Company 25/1 ew to my earlier bets on Vintage Clouds also at 25/1 ew and Tiger Roll 11/1 all nrnb. That’s it for me providing they all make it to post.
Now the talking has to stop. Will potato be prize champ or chimp ? We are about to find out. A Tizzard 1,2,3 led by Native River would do nicely for me !
