I have had a very rare ante post bet on SILVIANO CONTI for this at 50/1 E W . For a 2 times winner of this race
he is well overpriced particularly as the race is likely to cut upGUTTED ! H L was brilliant and to have led for so much of the race and get nutted on the post was sickening . However after 50 years in the game you learn to win some lose some . Congrats to all who had the winner
last years 1st and 2nd for me , HIGHLAND LODGE and DARE TO ENDEAVOUR. HL won this from 7lb out of the handicap beating DTE by 2 lengths , DTE is 4 lb better off so should be close between them. Additionally his trainer states this race is its primary target this season whereas most will have bigger fish to fry . Good luck to all.
agree with Raymo61 IRVING won valuable races last year and always seems best first time out
NATIVE RIVER 6/1 and SMAD PLACE 10/1 ew [6 places skybet] for me . I prefer to see Smad face good ground rather than slugging top weight on bottomless. Win or lose its great to see bookies offering such great concessions these days, NRNB , BOG AND 6 PLACES . We have never had it so good lol .
Hartnell for me hardly original I know but is proven at the highest level, has track , trip and going in his favour and a reasonable draw (12) 5/1 only a fair price but with skybet paying 6 places it becomes an ew proposition. Good luck all.
It doesn’t matter a jot to me who the presenters are. So long as they are back from the ads in time for the race live and show a decent replay. Rest of the time the mute button does its job!

As a new one on here, that horse had every chance of at least a place. Lucky enough to be on at 20/1 ew before faugheens withdrawal. This is my favourite race of the whole year -win or lose! Be lucky
