I don’t generally bet on this (or any other amateur race) but noted Shantou Flyer was available at around 20-1 a while ago and thought I might make an exception, given his current form and Cheltenham record. Totally forgot he was running today and he’s now 8-1. Serves me right!
Not good when that happens Tonge, but maybe one to be bigger on the day, so you might still nab decent odds.
Finally going in here with Pacha Du Polder. I was just going to wait for the day, but surely he can’t be bigger than 20’s, and he was always my #1 for this, so I might as well nab the 20’s just now.

Brilliant race run at a frenetic pace. I thought that Road To Rome ran a belter from the front as did Top Wood especially after a year’s absence.
A great ride on the winner, very cool.
