    Hi Kendicate,

Thanks for flagging this, really helpful and sorry i saw it late.

I’ve had a proper look into it this evening. It looks like your picks in the GN2026 group didn’t save for races 2, 3, and 4, but they did save correctly in the TRF Test group… And you still managed to win that GN2026 group today anyway, even with half a score.

I’ve tried to recreate the issue but haven’t been able to replicate it so far. One thing I’m wondering is whether the “Copy Picks across Groups” toggle may have been switched on or off mid-selection, which could potentially cause something like this.

I’ve also checked a few other players in multiple groups and haven’t seen the same behaviour yet, so it doesn’t look widespread at this stage.

Let’s keep an eye on it for now.

    Quick heads up everyone.

Thanks to Kendicate for flagging this earlier, really helpful.

I’ve identified a small bug that could affect how picks were saved in certain multi-group scenarios on the same race day. That’s now been fixed and the update is live.

If you’re on mobile, please fully close the app and reopen it a couple of times to make sure the latest update comes through.

As a quick check, if you’re in multiple groups, it’s worth flicking between them to confirm your picks are showing correctly.

    Appreciate everyone getting involved.

Big well done Tom for winning the TRF Group today.

80 points, 2 winners and 5 placed is a strong day’s work- great picking!

Really good turnout in the Grand National group as well, more than I was expecting which was great to see. There were a few who just missed out this time, so hopefully we can get even more involved next time round.

Tom’s 80 was a solid score, although still some way off the GN2026 group winner who put up 248 points— they clearly had the Hot Picks rules dialled in and made the most of them!

For anyone who signed up but didn’t quite get going in time (there are still quite a few accounts to be created), if you ran into any issues at all just shout and I’ll get you sorted. Also, worth checking your junk to see if the “You’re in, let’s get you started” email is there.

All in all a really successful test meeting- learned a lot from it. There was a bit of a wobble right at the end when a lot of people jumped back in to check the leaderboard, but to be honest I was half expecting that earlier in the day, so good to see it hold up as well as it did.

I’m still keen to tweak and play around with the scoring as well, so if anyone has any thoughts on that side of things I’m all ears.

Thanks again to everyone who got involved.

    Hi Craig

are you going to run a comp for Punchestown festival this week. I don’t think anyone runs a comp on here for that and would be a good test for the app?

hope everything is going well with it.

    Thanks

    Hi Kendicate,

Sorry I missed your message earlier.

Yes, I’ve set up a meeting for the TRF test group on Thursday 30th at Punchestown, so feel free to jump in. The odds will update at 9am on the day as usual.

All going well, thanks for checking in. I’m currently running some analysis on the current scoring system and looking to make a few tweaks to it soon.

I’ve also made some more improvements to the “Copy Picks across Groups” feature and a few bits behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly.

I’m working on the Statistics page as well, and longer term looking to link single meeting leaderboards into festival-style leaderboards… but that’s one for down the line.

If there are any stats you’d expect or like to see, feel free to drop me a message, always good to get ideas from regular competition players.

And as always, it’d be great to get a few more of you involved. The feedback so far has been really positive and very helpful in shaping things.

    Cheers
    Craig

    Thanks Craig,

yeah it was good to do the comp yesterday as I only fancied a couple of horses to bet on so gave some competitive interest to the other races.

Hopefully a few more can join today.

I will take a look at the stats stuff – whether you can show an P&L at SP £1 level stakes type thing. Might add interest for people.

Also with the long standing tote ten to follow competition now defunct, there might be a gap for rolling the stats up into a season long comp for jumps / flat.
