No chance of anything but racing being allowed to accept sweet fa with some sort of face saving whitewash. Owners, trainers and staff will have 2 take a cut coz of the economy stupid!

    Michael; far better and stronger?

The runner-up wasn’t doing himself any favours by running green, either.

Are you talking about the jockey or the horse?

The point is that as the technology for instant pics is now in existence what excuse is there for Betfair not to act. Surely a £1.6BN business dosen’t need to rely on selling an a flawed in running product to innocent punters.

does anyone really believe that BF can’t afford RUK pics as well?

There have been two instances where maybe inadvertently stay at home punters had fast pics. When RUK first launched free to air the pics were ahead of SIS. Subsequently ATR Extra was ahead of SIS as well.

I do agree that it is mighty strange that Betfair seem to have backed off finding a solution. There was also the story about Betfair being blocked from sponsoring RUK so it could be a free to air channel. Did Mark Davies ever have anything to say on the subject as he comes across as relatively straight talking.

Richard Hills rides in style suited to his position as Max Tomb’s retained jockey. He dosen’t ride like a job jockey all out desperate to win at all costs whatever the impact on the horse. He is extremely fortunate to have a retainer to ride the horses that he does.

If Carson had chosen Harayir in the 1,000 he may not have his position at all. Fair play to him for taking his opportunity. In terms of ability he has never in my opinion been in the top ten riders in any season that he has ridden.

No idea but he looked like he was going to be very good. Maybe the way of the majority of Dunlop’s string this year as something wrong with whole yard.

The main problem seems to be that Betfair isn’t really a true P2P exchange. The reports that the markets are choc a bloc with PLC market makers and bots. I have seen reports that 60%+ of the money is is this grey area. There really isn’t enough genuine punter 2 punter money to support a genuine exchange without the liquidity trickery we have at the moment.

How interesting is that article about Harry’s confrontation with Nic Coward. Findlay says that his "laying exemption" was notified to a Betfair lawyer the day after he allegedly received it! He also named the two BHA employees who issued it.

How on earth is Paul Roy going to be able to say that Harry is lying with all that. Harry should sue Paul Roy and the BHA for slander and defamation. Harry call Carter Ruck now mate.

He has to go and he has to go today, sir. There are no shades of grey here, imo.

If you look on the BHA website Nic Coward’s blog entry is about two years old! neither of them is bothered and they won’t go until they are pushed. I believe that they they are simply milking the whole scenario for as much as they can get cash wise.

Paul Roy is a banker which is a polite word for asset stripper. That’s all they are doing. I do think that his interventions in support of the boomakers and Betfair and his firm’s trading activities needs to be further investigated. Does his firm hold shares in Ladbrokes or any other of the boomakers he is supporting from his BHA seat?

Maybe Bruce Millington has got racing industry expert Howard Wright investigating Paul Roy and he is going to bring him down!

Vague notions have a habit of being ill-starred, Corm. Look no further than the Racing For Change programme, which has achieved precisely bugger-all, because no-one really knew what they wanted from it in the first place.

Err no Racing For Change is a vehicle for a load of consultant chappies and their mates to clear out millions from an improvished sport. They seem to be doing a very good job of paying themselves.

If you need to know the time, ask the consultant, who will then proceed to tell you the time from your own watch, and obviously take said watch as payment in kind!

Am I the only one that is bewildered how he has managed to get away with his antics betting on Noseeda horses and how they are run. In my eyes it makes Harry look harmless.

I think that he is miffed that he has been singled out for treatment seemingly to the exclusion of everyone else who is laying their own non triers everyday.

I cannot understand why Harry dosen’t come on here and talk about his many issues. We could ask him why BF censor threads on him on their forum. Free speech for Harry and no-one else.

Noseda seems to get a lot in the Tabor colours, and always seem to have Ryan Moore on board.

I think that you will find that the B Team trainers like Noseeda get a lot of the buy backs from the sales. These horses are all by Coolmore sires and are bought off the mare owners at the sales thus inflating the stallions figs.
