Big stables and talking horses this year imho so I’m with the top jocks at long odds. James Garfield, Headway, Nebo and Cardsharp. Hoping for an exciting race up the middle of the track. Good luck everyone
Flabbergasted this morning to see that Timeform have tipped my first choice, Danzeno. He was a beaten favourite 4 times last year which is somewhat off-putting but I can’t forget the wild but talented Danzeno of 2 or 3 years ago. Fingers Xd for a good run
‘Eminent’ is a good name for a Derby winner but he finished last of six in the Guineas as the four he beat home were a couple at 33’s and another two at 100/1. However, a horse he beat in the Craven went on to frame in the French Guineas so its fingers crossed for Eminent here with savers on the two unbeaten colts, Dubai Thunder and Cracksman. Its all very difficult!

StratfordLightning Spear has run well for a couple of years in some big races. I was hoping a more experienced jockey would get the ride in the Lockinge but looks like Oisin again. The Spear has got going too late in most of his races. 7/1 seems generous to me
1. Eminent
2. Al wukair
3. Lancaster BomberThis year’s race has really caught my imagination. Exciting prospect. GL all
I avoid betting on anything trained by AOB and I’m not a fan of Postponed but thanks for the tips and GL
Call me naïve but what is a ‘dirty bet’ that LostSoldier mentioned?
1. Humphrey Bogart
2. Red Verdon
3. US Army RangerAs far as I can recall this is the first Japanese runner to actually win a race in France. I’ve been backing them for years, so I got a bit back at last.
Alice Springs
Turret Rock
NathraGolden Horn, 130, might have got beaten – so they withdrew him.
IBRacing and Ian’s words above make the most sense to me. The withdrawal damaged racing and was unsporting, over-cautious and unnecessary
‘set suicidal pace’ .. why?
I did back Aficinado. My first impression was that his jockey might have had the horse better placed in the final stages of the race. Difficult decision for the stewards.
1. Muthmmir
2. Shamal Wind
3. Hot StreakThank you for that, WIT. I’ve watched Able Friend on youtube, impressive – very! I’m on now at 5/2 but reading your link has sobered me up a little.
Even money was a good offer. There was something about AP that set him a little above the previous 2 out of 3 horses.
