    Everything Epsom seems more and more anachronistic every year. Right now I just don’t know what to make of the Irish Oaks but WOW does seem the obvious choice. She looks certain to me to be involved, hard to say that about any of her rivals today.

    Treasure Beach may never get the credit he deserves even if he wins this. However, Reliable Man could be real star.

    I just took a look at the racing tomorrow. This is absolute madness, a Sunday in July and not one flat meeting.

    He can lose. His opponents are good but .. his record to date is head n shoulders above theirs. DT is the only Gp1 horse in here, the rest are Gp3 at best. Backing him is a bit scary tho!

    Thanks, Zarkava. Your posts are one of the big attractions here as far as I’m concerned. I suppose it’s the consistency of War Artist that attracts me, along with his globe-trotting.

    Not even a mention for War Artist? This fellow has run in big sprints just about everywhere and never seems to run a bad race. I’ll be on E/W on Saturday.

    A interesting thread recently was ‘hype horses’. For me, Seville is just such a horse. I’m going for Treasure Beach today. Yes, he was well-ridden at Epsom but he still represents classic form and that’s good enough for me.

    This is one of the most exciting line-ups for any race I have ever seen. My icon-pic is War Artist and I think he’ll run well. Fingers Xd!
