I don’t really have any fancies. Everything i like has been re-routed or what have you. I was going to say i like Valseur Lido, then i read that Alvisio Ville may be neptune bound. I had to use the money i had set aside for Lido , to make some emergency combo bets. It’s all going t*ts up. I thought Vatour looked an Arkle horse, but he goes jlt. All my money is down, and after Sunday i’ll switch off and tune back in around March. The joys of ante posts. :|

You are not alone. Vautour was backed for the Arkle, Valseur Lido
for the Sun Alliance and Alvisio Ville for the Supreme. If the current markets are to be believed all three are now looking like they are heading elsewhere. No surprise that yet again the common denominator is Willie Mullins who rarely seems to nominate a Cheltenham target and then stick with it. Yes, he has to juggle a top class team but it is as if he almost enjoys the confusion he creates. The most annoying aspect with these three is that with the exception of Vautour’s blip none of them have actually done anything on the racecourse to suggest that seemingly the original target was incorrect.

We take the uncertainty with the price. We just have to get on with it mate, spilled milk and all. You know the game, and you’ll be alright.

Goldie,my old sausage,we do love Darren on here, you should read his tweets they are even funnier.I believe he has 1 million followers and he kicks off every night with ‘Hows my followers tonight’? Class he is!

    He is indeed…..class :D

He is awesome. I did see his twitter once, and from recollection he fancies half of hollywood and half of top of the pops, a third of holyoaks and a quarter of eastenders, especially Mo Slater.

Bloody hell I’m just praising you pair on Boz’z thread and now you are here in the Cauldron, the Cauldron where magic is created from years of secret recipes.Where legend is formed and Ante-Post coups written in stone will be unveiled like a Michaelangelo bronze,of course I have balls of Steel not Bronze supported in a Crystal Jock strap. Those who have witnessed the unleashing of my Sword know when I strike its only after many candles have been burned and in the gloom of this smoke filled cauldron filters burning embers of form, form so many forget…..I see a sign……

    Holywell

    .

I looked into my wizards glass, and i saw a ginger haired goblin with green eyes trying to dip a soup bowl into the cauldon. A little owl flew from a book shelf, and chased him away. The owl then morphed into a fella with an irn bru bottle, who shouted ‘what bets you got cauldron and what do you think will win the derby and do you like irn bru, also what you think of britneys new song’ ? before trying to fill his bottle with some contents from the brewing potion, which sadly melted the glass, and turned the owl into a 4 foot troll with face warts. There was also an old witch heard saying to a half-man half leprechaun " word ‘as it the king is brewing something in that castle of ‘is, tommy", before winking at him and handing him an apple with letters ‘TNT’ etched on the side.

:) @ bawheed. My bets are crumbling fella. In a book of forlorn hopes, i suppose gilgamboa any race would raise a smile. Ante post is all about timing, and in my case funds. I had to go in early because im no money saver. I will cheer you and all the lays and plays folks on. Good luck.

Every year Gordon does what he does. Officially look away now if you hate ‘profits’.

I fell asleep, and missed it. Not the happiest to hear flintshire got beat by a lasixed gelding. I like the meeting myself, because i like the occasion. Not a fan of the fairytale stories all the time, or the american tendency to include sponsors products during presentation. I have enjoyed watching some good races involving zenyatta, midday, goldikova and mucho macho man etc. I don’t mind the surface or tracks, because that’s their way of doing things. I’ll catch up with what i missed.

I think gordon and joni are sarcastically ganging up on me. I can’t tell if these punting assassins are tag teaming me like the legion of doom. Gordon started smoking weed and listening to the beatles when he turned 64. Joni gets paid to tell people how to speak properly. How do i tell them that ya’ll know me, still same old ‘og’, but i beeen low key, hated on by most these forumites with no cheese, no deals and no g’s, no boats no snow mobiles and no skis ?

Can’t agree Stevie. Losing it implies the person is some how lesser at their job, like they forgot the training techniques they once implemented. It’s like saying cecil was a genius, then when the good ones dried up he wasn’t a genius, but along came frankel and hes a genius again. The word has been scaffed and devalued. It’s a word that should be reserved for a select view. Now the word is used by racing fans with winning tickets, spotty music listeners who think 60’s hits were wrirren ‘yesterday’ and folks who think media figures saying something stupid is a statement of futuristic ingenuity. It’s all about who you know.

Herr philips misses has alot to answer for. Divying oot the knighthoods for folks who assemble a team that get a four legged animals to run. Though if the bugger don’t got no more energy, flog em at the 7 pole. Noo, call me cynical, but imagine if you were called paul, fae a common town and your horses can jump aswell as run…..does we still ‘av genius’s in the field ma’am ?

I remember stevie caution said stoute had lost it, because i said a trainer is only as good as his horses. How does a trainer lose it ? The answer is they don’t get the same phone calls, but their alarm clock still works.

Good luck Ginge. Maybe you’ll return for the jumps. I hope your womans roullette scheme works out for the best. It’s not worth splitting up over.

Alright mate, hows things ? Fancy anything for the arc ? I think i’ll have another small bet on ‘Harp Star’. Not getting too carried away though. Those trials are tough. Hows the sports betting getting on ?
