Any reason why this market is suspended on the exchange?
I should of cashed out.
Excellent run from OTF.
Probably the best prep he has ever had, be great to see the old boy do it again (and not just for my financial gain)

Didn’t look overly confident to me!

I’m quite strong on the chances of Cue Card in this. Never felt he truly stayed 3m and contra to what some have previously stated, I think he has plenty of speed for 2m 5f. He Cheltenham record is 1124U21F and he will be nice and fresh for it too. Mind you, I think the last time I tipped a festival winner it was Cue Card to win the Bumper!

I think he’s Gold Cup bound after the Thistlecrack defeat.

Many thanks for this VTC.
Sounds like it can be a roller coaster ride of emotions just to get the horses to even line up.
I’m definitely considering it for next season at low stakes, over the last two weeks I’ve had three accounts restricted. It’s not going to get any better in the future either.
I like the idea of finding the angles to place the bet when the odds are too big, it’s basically what I do now Ante Post but without the option to lay back my stake.
As with most years, I’ve got some good bets and bad ones this year. Happy enough that only 9pts have so far been written off due to N/R. Still a long way to go though!

Got it!
Thanks for taking the time to explain that to me (both of you).
Looks a decent way of enjoying the four days, pretty much risk free. Guess you just need to spot the openings before someone else does.
I could lay a fair few of my bets off at the moment it seems to have a risk free ‘book’, but not having the equity in the exchange account is the issue this year. Next year I think I will base a high proportion of them with the exchange. This year I will have to let them all ride….and hope!

Yorkhill seems quite stable now on the exchange. Still not convinced he runs in this though!

I think the christmas hurdle was a terrible race to tell if he was quick enough for a CH it was suited to a stayer, hes obviously good enough to be in the mix for it this year, but if jezki was in top form at home, i just dont know if yanworth could beat him over two miles, or BVD for that matter
Will sit back and let this market get a little more clear before i get involved
But your right he probably will run here if fit, just speculation from me thats all

Its all about opinions….99% of the time I’m wrong

Kempton was a trial for Yanworth to see if he was quick enough for the CH. He won it pretty well in the end, Alan King was quoted as saying all roads lead to the CH after.
Jezki should go the Stayers route, I think he has more chance of upsetting UKWIMH than he does of winning the CH again. After all not many have regained the prize…
Faugheen being ruled out is irrelevant I think. They probably had an idea it was going to be the case before we did!

Firstly…Massive shame to see both these stars missing from the Festival this year.
But why do Mullins/Ricci and Walsh always have to perform some kind of circus act it seems every year?
As a punter you really do have to take things they say with a pinch of salt.
I guess their only option now is to re-route Yorkhill to the CH, move Bellshill to the JLT and leave VVM in the Mares.
Would be nice however, if they just left it as it is….wishful thinking.

Was at Cheltenham last week where West Approach was given an exaggerated waiting ride to place.
That ride is precisely what got him placed. Watch the race again, he was given every chance to go on and win but couldn’t.
I’ve watched it back a couple of times. I find Bartlett’s commentary of ‘west approach is flying from the back’ slightly amusing.

Is there any news about On The Fringe? Is he going straight to the Festival?
I should of cashed out.
On Airlie Beach for this after her win last time out in the Royal Bond. Very impressive the way she pulled clear at the end.
Just got to turn up to win….hopefully

I dont think you need to, hills the only book you can take yorkhill on because hes not entered, and at 9/2 even if he was to be supplemented i dont think he would be muxh shorter than 9/2 considering hills are NRNB, i would wait it out
Thanks Ham.
Yorkhill is 8.6 to place on the exchange which is tempting. I know I would lose my outlay if he weren’t to run but its still tempting

Clear from this thread that I am a massive Ballyboker Bridge fan – he runs at Punchestown at 2.30 today.
Still priced at 33/1 for the XC – get on before it shortens!
Anyone interested in big EW acca’s for the festival should look no further than throwing in this lad for a place. No Josies Orders and has comfortably held a number of others way shorter than him in the market. Cantlow and Auvergnat jump off the page as the best examples.
Were this trained by E Bolger he would be 16’s or less.
Thanks for this..
Have Cantlow @ 8’s but wanted another at a decent price so will follow you in

Backed Behind Time prior to yesterday’s run for this @ 20’s NRNB.
Thought Fry and JP were following the UNWIMH route of two seasons ago when he won of 115 on handicap debut earlier in the season. Looked miles ahead of his mark that day, running very green but still winning nicely.
Subsequent two runs haven’t been as good but still traveled well yesterday for a long way before flattening out.
Still think there’s possibilities here if they can get him in. But what do I know!

Whilst I am sweet on CDT, Beltor was the one horse bugging me. Stood to win me £700 in the 32Red Handicap Hurdle and I am still annoyed with that jump at the last. I think he is a big price at 25/1
Spoke to Rob Stephens on Wednesday about Beltor. Thinks he has a great chance of that mark of 135, has really struggled to get the horse back to form since injury in the fighting fifth a season or so back. If hes back to the triumph 6th place form, he thinks he is, then 25’s is definitely generous.
